Casio has not officially announced the CRW-002 in the sources reviewed. TechRadar and Notebookcheck have reported that the company may be preparing a second conventional digital ring watch, with details traced to Casioblog. Its design, features, price and possible November release remain unconfirmed.
What is reportedly coming with the CRW-002?
Notebookcheck reported on 30 September 2026 that the rumored ring takes design cues from Casio’s A168 digital watch and may be offered in steel and gold finishes. TechRadar reported on 1 October 2026 on the same rumored model. Both accounts relay details attributed to Casioblog, rather than an official Casio announcement.
The reported feature list includes dual time, a 60-minute stopwatch, an LED backlight, a calendar, 12- and 24-hour time formats, and a “Time Flash” light feature. These are claims in secondary reporting, not confirmed CRW-002 specifications. Notebookcheck’s report and TechRadar’s report are the cited accounts.
Is there an official price or release date?
No official Casio price, release date or market availability for the CRW-002 was verified. Secondary reports estimate a price near US$130 and suggest a possible November release, but neither detail is confirmed by Casio. The November timing should not be treated as a firm launch date.

How does the rumor compare with the confirmed CRW-001?
The CRW-001 is Casio’s documented first ring watch, developed for the company’s 50th watchmaking anniversary. Casio describes it as a miniature conventional digital watch, with a six-digit LCD, time display, calendar, dual time, stopwatch and preset pulsing light. The CRW-002’s reported functions overlap with some of those, but there is no official specification sheet to establish what would change.
The CRW-001 has a full-metal construction and an inner diameter of 20 mm, with a circumference of 62.8 mm. Casio includes spacers to adjust it to two smaller sizes. Its module uses high-density mounting and a smaller battery to fit the watch into ring form. These are CRW-001 details and should not be assumed to apply to the rumored model. Casio’s developer interview gives the CRW-001’s Japan launch date as 13 December 2024 and its launch price as ¥19,800, including tax. Those historical Japan figures do not establish a CRW-002 price or release schedule. Casio’s Japanese product information and developer interview document the first model.
Why another ring watch is plausible—but still unconfirmed
Casio said in its FY2025 third-quarter investor briefing that entries for the CRW-001’s official-site lottery exceeded expectations. A later Japanese release also described continuing shortages soon after launch. These statements indicate strong interest, but Casio did not publish an entry count, and they do not prove that every restock sold out. They also do not confirm that a successor is in development. Don’t confuse the CRW-002 with Casio’s other ring wearables
Casio has several ring-shaped products, but they serve different purposes. The reported CRW-002 is described as a conventional digital watch; the CRW-001 is its officially documented predecessor.
- CRW-H001: A separate smart ring listed by Casio China. It includes activity, sleep, heart-rate, blood-oxygen and temperature functions, plus phone notifications. Casio says sales and service are limited to China, lists a price of ¥1,990 yuan, and cautions that health measurements support general fitness or health management rather than diagnosis or treatment. - DWN-5600: A ring-sized G-SHOCK model, not the rumored A168-style digital watch. Casio’s Japanese release describes shock resistance and 20-bar water resistance. Casio’s release covers this model.
What prospective buyers should do
If you want a ring-sized Casio watch now, the CRW-001 is the established conventional timekeeping option in this group. Check Casio or an authorized retailer for current availability: the launch-era shortages do not establish present stock. If you are considering the CRW-002, wait for a Casio announcement before relying on its reported features, price or timing. For sizing, battery details and other practical requirements, use official specifications for the actual model rather than carrying over CRW-001 information to an unannounced product.
