Yes. Zola Suite, now called CARET Legal, offers an Outlook plugin that brings selected legal-practice tools into email. It works with supported Windows desktop versions of Outlook, but CARET Legal says it is not compatible with New Outlook or Outlook on the web (OWA).
What the Zola Suite Outlook integration does
After you install the plugin and sign in with your CARET Legal credentials, a CARET Legal section appears when you compose a message or open an existing email. The documented email tools include:
- Selecting a matter.
- Working with the recipient email address and attachments.
- Using a timer. It starts automatically when you compose a new email, and you can stop, pause, or reset it.
This is an email-workflow integration. CARET Legal’s plugin documentation does not establish that it synchronizes Outlook calendars or contacts. See CARET Legal’s Outlook plugin guide for the documented features.
Which Outlook versions are compatible?
CARET Legal’s current help content says the plugin supports Outlook Desktop, but not New Outlook or Outlook Web App. Its installation guide specifies Windows desktop Outlook for Microsoft 365, Outlook 2016, and Outlook 2013.

- Close and reopen Outlook after installation; CARET Legal specifically recommends this if the ribbon tab does not appear.
- If installation or access remains blocked, ask CARET Legal support or your firm’s Microsoft administrator about organizational deployment, tenant consent, and security settings. CARET Legal’s published instructions do not specify those requirements.
Does the plugin sync Outlook calendars or contacts?
That is not established by the Outlook-plugin documentation. It describes tools for working with email and matters, but does not confirm calendar or contact synchronization. If you need calendar or contacts integration, check with CARET Legal support rather than assuming this plugin provides it.
