Not as a built-in YouTube Studio playlist feature, according to YouTube’s official guidance reviewed on October 3, 2026. YouTube documents live broadcasts as incoming feeds—from an encoder, webcam, mobile device, or console—and documents playlists as a way to organize published videos, including stream archives and highlights. It does not document a control that takes uploaded apartment tours and continuously plays them as one YouTube Live broadcast.
You can still create a continuous live viewing experience by sending a program from an external encoder or cloud service. That is a separate broadcast workflow, not a native YouTube playlist feature, and you should verify the chosen service’s sequencing, rights, and reliability before relying on it.
What “playlist” and “Live” mean on YouTube
A YouTube playlist arranges published videos for playback. A YouTube Live broadcast, by contrast, is a live feed sent to YouTube through a supported method. YouTube’s documented live options include mobile, webcam, encoder, and console workflows; its encoder instructions require the creator to enter YouTube’s live server URL and stream key in the encoder. The official guidance does not confirm an in-Studio option that converts a playlist of uploaded apartment tours into one continuous live event.
This is a limit of what YouTube’s documentation establishes, not proof that no third-party production workflow can create a similar result. A compatible encoder or cloud service may be able to play prerecorded material into a live feed, but the playlist automation and compatibility must be checked with that service.

Choose the viewing experience you actually need
| Approach | What viewers get | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Publish tours and organize them in a YouTube playlist | A straightforward sequence of apartment-tour videos that viewers can watch on demand. | It is not a live broadcast. YouTube’s playlist guidance covers organizing stream archives and highlight clips after an event. |
| Send an encoder-fed program to YouTube Live | A live event page carrying a feed from your encoder; an external production workflow could potentially play prerecorded tours in sequence. | YouTube’s documented encoder workflow does not itself establish automated video-playlist sequencing. Confirm the encoder or service can do what you need. |
| Schedule separate streams or videos | Individual events or videos that can be scheduled and promoted, then organized on your channel. | Scheduling does not turn multiple uploaded tours into one automatically sequenced live event. |
Decide based on whether viewers need a true live event, whether tours must run in a fixed order without an operator, and whether you need a single continuous broadcast or simply an easy-to-browse collection. For a simple property showcase, a regular playlist is less operationally involved. If the live format is essential, plan an encoder-based workflow and test the full sequence before promoting it.
How an encoder-based continuous broadcast works
- Check channel access and prepare a scheduled live event. YouTube’s live-streaming overview explains eligibility and supported methods. Scheduling can create a promoted watch page and let viewers receive reminders.
- Select a compatible encoder or cloud production service. Confirm that it can play your prerecorded tour files in the required order and send a continuous live feed to YouTube. YouTube’s encoder documentation explains the YouTube-side connection, but does not endorse or guarantee a particular playlist automation tool.
- Connect the encoder to YouTube. In the encoder’s stream settings, enter the live server URL and stream key provided for the YouTube event. Treat the stream key as a password: do not publish it or share it with viewers.
- Build and test the tour sequence in the encoder. Confirm the order, transitions, audio levels, and behavior at the end of the final video. Check whether the workflow repeats the sequence or stops; do not assume YouTube will advance through uploaded videos automatically.
- Start the encoder and check the YouTube preview and stream health. YouTube recommends monitoring stream health and quality. Verify that viewers see the intended feed and that the sequence continues as expected before directing an audience to it.
- End or hand off the event deliberately. YouTube Live Redirect can send viewers to another live stream or Premiere after the current stream ends. It is an end-of-stream handoff, not documented playlist automation.
Long broadcasts: archive, DVR, and handoffs
YouTube says encoder streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. For streams longer than 12 hours, DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable. If viewers need to revisit a particular apartment tour, consider shorter scheduled events or separate published tours rather than assuming a very long broadcast will behave like a permanently navigable video library.

- FlowState Stabilization + 360° Horizon Lock: No gimbal needed. X5’s FlowState Stabilization and full 360° Horizon Lock deliver buttery-smooth, level footage, even during action-packed moments, bumps, or full rotations
YouTube describes DVR as letting viewers “pause, rewind, and continue during the live stream.” That is a viewer control, not a way to choose or advance between prerecorded tour files. Similarly, Live Redirect may ease a transition between separate live events or a Premiere, but the documentation does not say it sequences items from a video playlist.
Copyright and tour-content checks
Before broadcasting prerecorded tours, make sure you have the necessary rights to the video, music, narration, images, and any footage recorded in a property. A live format does not remove copyright obligations. Also check privacy and permissions for identifiable residents, visitors, artwork, or sensitive property details. YouTube’s tools can organize or transmit content, but they do not establish that you have permission to use it.

Common problems and what to check
- The YouTube playlist does not appear as a Live source: that is consistent with YouTube’s documented distinction between published playlists and incoming live feeds. Use an encoder workflow if a live program is required, or publish the tours as a regular playlist.
- The event is scheduled but no tour is playing: scheduling creates the event page; the encoder still needs to send a feed. Check that it is running and connected to the correct event’s server URL and stream key.
- The first tour plays but the next does not: inspect the external encoder or service’s playlist and end-of-file behavior. YouTube documentation does not promise automatic sequencing of prerecorded files.
- Viewers cannot rewind far enough: DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable for broadcasts longer than 12 hours. Shorten the event or make individual tours available as videos.
- The next event does not start automatically: Live Redirect is a handoff after a stream ends, not a documented scheduler for playlist items. Confirm the next live stream or Premiere is eligible and set up the redirect separately.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping a channel live from uploaded videos: upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It keeps the stream running without a computer, OBS, or home internet connection staying on. It can be a practical option for a continuous virtual tour program, but confirm your intended sequence and content rights before going live.
- Nothing has to stay on at home; StreamNeo runs the feed from the cloud.
- Videos stream as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot.
- It automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
