The brewer must support a Ninja Pod Adapter, and its owner’s guide must confirm K-Cup pod compatibility. Check the exact model before using a pod or buying a replacement adapter.
Check your exact Ninja model first
“Ninja single-serve coffee maker” covers more than one model, so compatibility is not a brand-wide yes. Find the model number on the brewer and consult its owner’s guide for instructions that specifically identify a Ninja Pod Adapter and K-Cup pods. Do not assume an adapter or filter from another Ninja line will fit.
The official PB051 product listing describes a brewer for pods and grounds, lists pod sizes from 6 to 12 oz., and includes a Ninja Pod Adapter. It does not specifically name K-Cups. K-Cup-specific instructions for the PB051 family appear in a PB040/050 Series Owner’s Guide copy hosted by a third party. For another model, use that model’s own guide to settle compatibility.
Disposable K-Cup pods are not reusable K-Cup filters
The Ninja DualBrew quick-start guide states: “The Ninja Pod Adapter is compatible only with K-Cup pods.” It immediately excludes reusable K-Cup filters. The DualBrew quick-start guide therefore supports using compatible disposable pods with the specified adapter, not putting a reusable K-Cup filter into it. The third-party-hosted PB040/050 guide copy also warns that reusable K-Cup filters are not compatible with the Ninja Pod Adapter.

How to install the DualBrew pod adapter
Use these steps only if they match your DualBrew guide; other Ninja models may have a different procedure.
- Leave the brew basket inserted in the brewer.
- Place the Pod Adapter over the brew basket and align its indicator with LOCK.
- Lift the adapter handle and place a disposable K-Cup pod in the holder.
- Press the handle down to pierce the pod.
- Select a pod brew size and start brewing.
Do not force a pod, adapter, or reusable filter that does not fit or lock as instructed. The DualBrew guide also says pods cannot be brewed at carafe sizes.

The PB051 product listing identifies the Ninja Pod Adapter accessory as model XADPPB050. Verify that any replacement part is specified for your exact brewer before ordering; a part listed for one model should not be assumed to fit another.
