Not through the workflow Streamlabs Mobile documents. Its published instructions cover going live from a phone camera or screen, but do not show how to select, loop, or schedule a prerecorded playlist for continuous playback. A screen-capture workaround may be possible on some devices, but it is unverified and should not be treated as a reliable 24/7 setup.
What Streamlabs Mobile’s documented workflow does
Streamlabs’ YouTube walkthrough describes choosing YouTube, creating or selecting a live event, and starting a broadcast. Its mobile guide covers camera and screen capture settings. Neither documents importing a playlist, looping prerecorded videos, or scheduling unattended playback. That means the documented workflow is for broadcasting a live camera or screen feed—not a demonstrated playlist playout system.
This distinction matters: showing a video on a phone screen is not the same as having a supported, unattended playlist broadcaster. The available instructions do not establish whether a particular phone, operating-system version, or Streamlabs Mobile release can capture a locally playing video continuously, keep its audio routed correctly, or recover after playback or network interruptions.
If you want to try a phone-based workaround
You could investigate playing a video on the phone and broadcasting the screen, but regard this as an experiment rather than a verified Streamlabs playlist method. Confirm the behavior on your own device and app version before relying on it for a public, continuous stream. In particular, test whether playback continues while broadcasting, whether audio is captured, and whether the phone can sustain the workload without interruption.

- Background and looping: The cited Streamlabs instructions do not establish that local video playback will continue reliably during screen capture or repeat automatically.
- Audio routing: They do not establish that the phone will capture the player’s audio as intended.
- Power and heat: A phone broadcasting for extended periods depends on sustained power and may face heat or device limits. The documented workflow does not guarantee unattended operation.
- Network and supervision: A mobile broadcast still relies on a stable connection and ongoing device operation. YouTube warns that network disruption can break a stream; its guidance recommends leaving upload-bandwidth headroom and monitoring audio and video.
If the goal is a live view from a phone camera rather than prerecorded playlist playback, Streamlabs Mobile’s documented use is a closer fit. A phone-based camera stream is still dependent on power, network stability, and supervision; the documentation does not promise unattended uptime.
Consider an encoder or dedicated playout workflow
YouTube distinguishes mobile streaming from encoder streaming. It describes mobile as “Good for vlogging and quick updates from your phone or tablet,” while its encoder category covers sharing a screen, broadcasting gameplay, and managing an advanced production. That makes an encoder workflow a more relevant category to investigate for continuous prerecorded playback, but those descriptions do not prove that a particular encoder supports playlist looping.

Before choosing any encoder or playout service, verify the features that determine whether it can meet your needs:
- Can it import and loop a playlist directly?
- Will it restart playback or reconnect automatically after an interruption?
- Must a computer or dedicated device remain powered?
- Does it offer local recording controls, and how does that relate to YouTube’s archive?
- What upload bandwidth and backup connection does it need?
- Does it support your operating system and the specific media files you plan to use?
- Do you have the rights to stream every video and audio track in the playlist?
YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends monitoring audio and video and checking that local archive files are growing. These are useful checks during operation; they are not evidence that any specific encoder offers continuous playlist playback or unattended recovery.

Do not assume a 24/7 stream will create a complete archive
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous 24/7 broadcast should therefore not be treated as a dependable way to create one complete replay. If you need an archive, plan for separate recording and verify that your chosen workflow is actually saving it.
Check YouTube live eligibility before setup
YouTube’s current help guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so complete that step before a planned broadcast rather than waiting until launch.
