A PC without a separate graphics card may still have graphics processing built into its processor. However, the game’s published minimum requirements name dedicated NVIDIA or AMD cards, and Intel warns that Batman: Arkham Knight can crash at launch on Intel graphics or run at very low performance if it starts. The result depends on your exact processor and graphics hardware.
What “without a graphics card” means
People often use “graphics card” to mean a separate, removable component, or GPU. Some PCs have no such card but still produce graphics through a GPU integrated into the processor. Check which graphics processor your computer actually uses before judging whether it can run the game.
Having integrated graphics is not the same as meeting the game’s published minimum. Steam lists a discrete graphics card for both its minimum and recommended configurations.
Batman: Arkham Knight’s published PC requirements
Steam lists the following system requirements. They are hardware specifications, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or experience.

These are the requirements shown on Steam Support’s technical-issue page. The Steam store listing also notes that Steam’s client supports Windows 10 and later from January 1, 2024. Its older listed operating-system requirements should not be read as a statement of current Windows compatibility.
What Intel says about running the game on Intel graphics
Intel’s support article, last reviewed September 4, 2024, warns that Batman: Arkham Knight may crash at launch on Intel graphics platforms. If it does load, Intel says it may exhibit very low performance. This is a warning about the potential problems, not evidence that every integrated GPU behaves the same way or that any particular one will deliver playable performance.

Intel documents a workaround involving a modified dxgi.dll file that forces selection of an Intel graphics device. Intel cautions that it increases startup time and conflicts with other workarounds that use the same DLL filename. See Intel’s support article for its instructions and caveats; the workaround should not be treated as a performance fix.
How to judge your own PC
- Identify the graphics processor. Find your exact CPU and GPU model in your system information or device settings. A computer without a separate card may use integrated graphics, but the model matters.
- Compare it with the listed hardware. The minimum names a GTX 660 with 2 GB or Radeon HD 7870 with 2 GB. A different integrated GPU cannot be declared equivalent from the published requirements alone.
- Check the rest of the system. Compare the processor, RAM, operating system, DirectX support and available storage with Steam’s minimum specifications as well.
- Look for evidence for your exact setup. The official sources do not establish a dependable FPS, resolution or playability result for a particular integrated GPU. A meaningful estimate needs a benchmark matching the processor, graphics unit, memory configuration, driver, settings and game version.
If you are considering a graphics-card upgrade
Do not buy an old card solely because it appears in the minimum requirements. Before choosing an upgrade, verify that the card fits your case, works with your motherboard, is supported by your power supply and fits your budget. Meeting the listed minimum is not a promise of smooth performance, and the cited requirements do not establish current stock or condition for those legacy models.
