WWE All Stars has no officially released Windows or Steam edition. The original game launched on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii and Nintendo 3DS. On a PC, you therefore need an unofficial method such as emulation, a community-made recompilation or streaming from compatible hardware. An Xbox-style controller is usually the most practical input device, but that does not make the game a native PC release.
Official WWE All Stars online multiplayer is also gone. Its servers were shut down on April 28, 2013, so current official matchmaking should be treated as unavailable. Local multiplayer on original console hardware is a separate offline feature.
Was WWE All Stars released for PC?
No. The original platform announcements list Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP and Wii, and a later WWE listing also names Nintendo 3DS. Neither official platform record lists Windows, PC or Steam.

That distinction matters because a copy of the console game is not automatically a PC-compatible product. Windows does not have a publisher-supported executable, official PC graphics settings, native Windows controller profile or supported PC multiplayer service for WWE All Stars.

How can you play WWE All Stars on a PC?
PC play is possible only through a method that recreates, streams or replaces the original console environment. Compatibility depends on the specific platform version, software, computer hardware and game image. No single unofficial route should be assumed to work universally.
Emulation
An emulator imitates a console’s hardware so software made for that console can run on a computer. The appropriate emulator depends on the version you own: an Xbox 360 build is different from a PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii or 3DS build. Performance, graphics accuracy, save support and controller handling can vary between emulator projects and releases.
Use game software and system firmware only in ways permitted by the laws and licences that apply where you live. The safest practical approach is to use media you own and consult the emulator’s documentation for its supported formats. Do not assume that a file obtained from an unverified source is legitimate or safe.

Community-made recompilation or ports
A community project may recompile or adapt game code for PC, but such a project is not the same as an official port. It may require files from an original release, have incomplete features, stop receiving updates or work only with a particular version. Treat compatibility claims as project-specific rather than as a guarantee for every PC.
Streaming from a console
If you already own compatible console hardware, you may be able to stream its video and controls to a PC using a suitable remote-play or capture arrangement. In that case the game is still running on the console; the PC is acting as a display and input endpoint. Image quality, latency and feature support depend on the console, network and streaming software.

Does WWE All Stars work with a controller on PC?
It can work with a controller through the PC input layer used by your emulator, community build or streaming application. Steam’s controller documentation lists official Microsoft Xbox controllers, Xbox 360 and Xbox One pads, PlayStation controllers, Nintendo Switch Pro controllers and generic gamepads among supported input devices. Support still varies by the game and application.

For this reason, an Xbox-style XInput controller is the practical first choice. XInput is the input standard most Windows games and emulators recognize with the least manual mapping. A USB pad usually avoids Bluetooth pairing problems; a wireless pad is convenient once Windows has recognized its receiver or Bluetooth connection.

Basic controller setup
- Connect the controller by USB, wireless receiver or Bluetooth and confirm that Windows detects it in its game-controller settings.
- Start the emulator, community build or streaming client rather than expecting Windows to launch WWE All Stars directly.
- Open that application’s input or controller menu and select the connected pad. In an emulator, choose the console profile or player-one slot.
- Map the face buttons, shoulder buttons, triggers, sticks and start/select controls. Keep the layout consistent with the original console version you are using.
- Test every action in the application’s input-test screen or a noncompetitive match before changing advanced settings.
- If you use Steam as the launcher for an external application, add the application as a non-Steam game and configure its controller layout through Steam Input. This provides an input layer; it does not create an official WWE All Stars PC port.

Can you still play WWE All Stars online?
Not through the original official online service. WWE All Stars’ online multiplayer servers were shut down on April 28, 2013. A statement from WWE Games’ interactive marketing manager explained that the game was two years old and online play was no longer supported.
That means an original copy should not be expected to connect to official matchmaking today, whether it is running on an original console or through an unofficial PC method. A menu option, old manual or previously saved network setting does not indicate that the service is still operational.

What remains available
- Local multiplayer: Players can use the game’s offline multiplayer features on supported original hardware, subject to the controllers and modes available on that platform version.
- Single-player play: Career and other offline modes remain dependent on the game version and hardware, not on the discontinued server.
- Unofficial networking: An emulator or community project may offer its own netplay feature, but availability, latency, synchronization and legality are project-specific. It is not WWE’s original online service.
Can an Xbox 360 disc run on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S?
Do not assume that it can. Microsoft’s backward-compatibility program covers a selected catalogue of original Xbox and Xbox 360 games. Eligibility is determined by that catalogue, not simply by owning a disc.
The retrieved catalogue information does not identify WWE All Stars as an included backward-compatible title. Check Microsoft’s current Xbox backward-compatibility catalogue before buying a newer console specifically for this game. If the title is not listed, an Xbox 360 disc should not be advertised as working on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

What is the most dependable way to get the game?
The clearest official-platform route is an original Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 copy used with the matching console. Before buying, check the region, disc condition, case contents and whether the console reads other discs. A used listing may be physically available while still requiring hardware that you do not own.

For a PC setup, budget separately for a USB or wireless Xbox-style controller. The controller is an accessory for the emulator, community build or streaming layer, not evidence that WWE All Stars has native Windows support.
PC setup problems and fixes
The program does not detect the controller
- Reconnect the USB cable or receiver and test another port.
- For Bluetooth, remove and re-pair the controller in Windows.
- Close other remapping utilities that may capture the pad first.
- Choose XInput mode when the controller offers both XInput and DirectInput.
- Open the emulator’s input menu and assign the device to player one instead of relying on automatic detection.
The buttons are wrong
- Reset the application’s profile and map buttons manually.
- Check whether the emulator is displaying Xbox labels while your controller uses a different physical layout.
- Save the profile for the exact game version and player slot you use.
The game runs slowly or has graphical problems
- Confirm that the emulator matches the original platform version.
- Use the project’s recommended renderer and baseline settings before enabling enhancements.
- Close background applications and test at the original resolution.
- Update only to an emulator release documented as compatible with your setup; a newer build is not automatically more accurate.
Online play fails
For official WWE All Stars matchmaking, failure is expected because the servers were retired in 2013. Check only whether you intended to use an unofficial netplay feature; its requirements and troubleshooting steps belong to that separate project.
Bottom line
You can play WWE All Stars on a PC only through an unofficial route such as emulation, a community adaptation or streaming from console hardware. An Xbox-style XInput controller is the sensible choice for that setup, and Steam Input can help translate supported pads for the external application. There is no officially listed Windows or Steam edition, and the game’s official online multiplayer has been unavailable since April 28, 2013. For the least uncertainty, use an original Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 copy on its matching console and treat PC play as a compatibility project rather than a native release.
