Yes. Pair the Bluetooth speaker with a Google Home or Nest device, then add that Google device—not the Bluetooth speaker by itself—to a Google speaker group. Start Spotify on the group to play through the Google device and its paired Bluetooth speaker alongside the group’s other supported devices.
How simultaneous playback works
A Google Home or Nest device can send music to a Bluetooth speaker paired as its default music speaker. For multi-room playback, the Google device is the group member; its paired Bluetooth speaker plays through it. Google’s instructions say, “To include a Bluetooth speaker, add its paired Google Nest or Home device to the group.” Google’s Bluetooth speaker and headphone instructions and speaker-group guidance describe this setup.
This is different from connecting a phone independently to both a Google speaker and a Bluetooth speaker and expecting them to stay synchronized. The supported route is to use a Google device and its speaker group.

Put the Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode.

In the Google Home app, open the Google Home or Nest device’s settings. Select Audio, then Default music speaker and Pair Bluetooth speaker. Choose the speaker and complete pairing. Menu labels can vary with the app or device.

Create a speaker group in the Google Home app and include the Google Home or Nest device paired with the Bluetooth speaker. Do not look for the Bluetooth speaker as a separate group member.

Start Spotify playback on the group, or use the Google Home app’s playback controls to add the group or supported devices to active playback. Available controls and compatible endpoints depend on the devices in your home. See Google’s speaker-group instructions.

Limits and troubleshooting
Only one Bluetooth output can play through each Google device at a time
A Google Home or Nest device can connect to one Bluetooth speaker or pair of headphones at a time for music. Although it may be paired with multiple Bluetooth outputs, it connects to the most recently connected one. To switch outputs, connect the speaker you want to use.
Correct group delay only when it is noticeable
Bluetooth can introduce delay in group playback. If the Bluetooth speaker has a consistent, significant mismatch with the other group devices, adjust the group-delay correction in the Google device’s Audio settings. Google advises leaving this setting alone if you do not notice a significant delay. The documentation provides no general delay figure; the result can depend on the devices and setup. Check Spotify account functionality
Google’s troubleshooting guidance says Spotify Premium is needed for most functionality on Google smart speakers and displays. That caveat concerns Spotify features; it does not say Premium is required just to pair a Bluetooth speaker or create a speaker group. Supported services and commands can vary by location. Confirm the group uses supported devices
Google speaker groups support listed compatible speakers, displays, streaming devices, and other devices. In the Bluetooth setup described here, the paired Google Home or Nest device joins the group, while the Bluetooth speaker plays through it. Check Google’s current group guidance if a device is missing or cannot be added.

Is this better than using another Google-compatible speaker?
The Bluetooth route can make use of a speaker you already own, provided your Google Home or Nest device can pair with it. Another supported Google Cast-compatible speaker may be simpler to add as a group endpoint, but Google’s documentation does not establish that either option is better for price, sound quality, or synchronization. The practical choice depends on the hardware you have and whether playback stays acceptably synchronized in your room.
