YouTube’s published Super Sticker rules do not exclude a stream because it runs 24/7. Viewers can buy them while a stream is live if the channel and stream meet YouTube’s eligibility rules and live chat is available. YouTube does not, however, make a separate guarantee specifically for uninterrupted 24/7 broadcasts.
When Super Stickers are available
Super Stickers are animated images viewers purchase and share in live chat. YouTube makes them available on eligible live streams and Premieres. A channel’s eligibility and the stream’s settings matter more than its duration. YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers eligibility guidance does not list 24/7 streaming as an exclusion.
- The creator must be in the YouTube Partner Program, be at least 18, and live in a location where the feature is available.
- The creator must accept and comply with the relevant terms, including the Commerce Product Module or an applicable legacy addendum.
- Super Stickers must be enabled, and live chat must be available on the stream.
- The stream must not fall into an excluded category: age-restricted, unlisted, private, Made for Kids, or associated with a YouTube Giving fundraiser.
Availability varies by country, so check YouTube’s current eligibility and location information rather than assuming the feature is available everywhere. YouTube’s Supers setup instructions explain how eligible creators can check the Earn area in YouTube Studio for a Supers tab or card and follow the prompts to turn the feature on.
How viewers buy a Super Sticker
- Open the stream’s YouTube watch page and its live chat.
- Select the dollar-sign control in the chat, then choose Super Sticker.
- Select a sticker and complete the purchase shown by YouTube.
Live chat and its purchase controls are available on YouTube watch pages, not embedded players. If someone is watching an embedded 24/7 stream and cannot find the chat purchase options, they should open the stream directly on YouTube. See YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers guidance.

Does the 12-hour archive limit stop Stickers?
No such cutoff is stated in YouTube’s Super Sticker eligibility guidance. The 12-hour warning concerns whether YouTube captures a replay, not whether viewers can send Stickers while an eligible stream is live. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but cautions: “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” A continuous 24/7 broadcast should not be expected to produce one complete replay. YouTube recommends keeping a local recording as a backup. Check its archive live streams guidance for the current details.
Keeping a YouTube stream running continuously
Super Stickers are a YouTube feature; no particular streaming hardware is required to buy or send one. If you are choosing how to keep a prerecorded YouTube stream going around the clock, StreamNeo is a cloud option: it loops uploaded videos or playlists, so your computer does not need to stay on, and its slots support any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. This is separate from Sticker eligibility, which remains subject to YouTube’s rules above.
