Not as one endlessly looping playlist. Restream can schedule prerecorded playlists to go live on YouTube automatically, but it limits a playlist to 24 hours and says playlists themselves do not loop. Scheduling playlists back-to-back is possible, but each is a separate stream with a two-minute buffer. Restream’s reviewed documentation does not identify an India-specific restriction, but it also does not confirm availability for every account in India.
What Restream can—and cannot—do
Restream’s Upload & Stream feature lets you upload prerecorded videos, arrange them into a playlist, and schedule that playlist as a YouTube event. Once scheduled, playback starts automatically; your laptop does not need to remain on.
That is unattended scheduled playback, not a single playlist that repeats indefinitely. Restream’s Help Center says playlists do not support looping. A playlist can run for up to 24 hours and contain up to 40 video items. You can schedule playlists back-to-back, but Restream treats them as separate streams and inserts a two-minute buffer between them. That is not uninterrupted 24/7 playback, and each event must be scheduled.
Playlist looping is different from looping one video
Restream has a separate option to repeat an individual prerecorded video up to 10 times, producing a stream of up to 40 hours. The Help Center lists this video-loop feature for its Marathon and Media Upload & Stream add-on plans. It does not make a playlist loop: the playlist still has a 24-hour maximum. To repeat several short videos within a playlist, Restream suggests adding duplicate copies, subject to the 40-item playlist limit.

Restream plan access and listed limits
Restream says playlists require an Upload & Stream add-on tier. Its Help Center article accessed October 3, 2026, lists the following tiers and limits. These are the figures shown in that article, not guaranteed current prices; check Restream’s current plan page before subscribing.

The library limit is distinct from the maximum scheduled playlist runtime: a playlist can be up to 24 hours, while the cited tiers list libraries of four and 12 hours respectively. Confirm how the current plan applies to the amount of source video you need to store.

Before scheduling a YouTube playlist from India
Check YouTube live eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. Restream’s YouTube guidance also says phone verification is required and describes a 24-hour wait before streaming for the first time. Confirm the channel is enabled for live streaming and authorize the channel owner’s YouTube account in Restream. YouTube’s extra mobile-streaming thresholds apply to mobile broadcasts; they should not be assumed to apply to this prerecorded playlist workflow.
Check rights for every item
YouTube’s live-stream terms require the content provider to hold the necessary rights to exploit live content worldwide and to comply with applicable laws and regulations in the stream territory. Check rights for every video and music track before scheduling, including material that may be licensed for ordinary uploads but not for rebroadcast as live content. The cited guidance does not provide a specific India licensing checklist for this use.

Set expectations about India availability
The Restream documentation reviewed does not state an India-specific ban or special 24/7 restriction. It also does not establish that every account in India can use the feature, so check availability and plan access for your account. YouTube’s inclusion of India on a mobile live-stream availability page concerns mobile streaming; it does not by itself prove Restream playlist availability in India.

Do not rely on YouTube to preserve a complete archive of a 24-hour broadcast. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If viewers need a replay, schedule shorter broadcast segments or keep a separate recording.
