Sometimes, but there is no universal yes or no. Acceptance depends on the screenshot API’s checkout provider, supported card networks and issuing countries, billing type, and your card issuer’s controls. A processor’s general support for Indian cards does not guarantee that a particular API provider will accept yours.
Why acceptance varies by screenshot API
Each API provider chooses how to take payment and what plans to offer. Some charge based on usage, while others sell subscriptions that renew automatically. A provider may use Stripe, another processor, or a checkout arrangement whose supported cards and countries are not stated publicly.
For example, Screenshot API advertises metered usage and says, “No subscriptions, if you don’t use it in a month your charge is $0” on its pricing page. By contrast, Screenshot API’s terms describe automatic subscription renewal, while Screenshot-api.net’s terms say paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe in US dollars. These are provider-specific arrangements, not a rule for screenshot APIs as a category.
ScreenshotCore lists paid API plans and per-capture overage pricing on its pricing page, but the pricing information does not specify card networks, India restrictions, or its checkout processor. Pricing details alone are not evidence that an Indian card will work.

What Stripe’s India support does—and does not—tell you
Stripe’s India documentation says India-based Stripe accounts support Visa, Mastercard (including Maestro), and American Express for domestic and international payments, subject to restrictions; Amex processing is limited. Stripe also notes that some local payment methods and Google Pay or Apple Pay are unavailable in specified India account and checkout contexts. See Stripe’s India pricing and supported payment methods for Stripe accounts in India.
This documentation describes Stripe’s capabilities, not a promise that a particular screenshot API uses Stripe, accepts a given card, or will authorize a transaction. Even when a vendor uses Stripe, the merchant’s configuration and the card issuer’s decision matter.

Stripe’s India pricing page lists processing prices of 2% for most cards issued in India and 3% for cards issued outside India for domestic payments, along with international-card pricing and currency-conversion fees in applicable cases. These are merchant processing fees; they do not establish the fee that an API customer will pay. Stripe’s Checkout information for India likewise describes Stripe’s product and merchant-side pricing, not the checkout method selected by every API vendor.

- Identify the provider and its checkout. Check the API vendor’s billing, pricing, help, or checkout page. Do not assume the processor based on what other services use.
- Confirm card network and issuing country. Look for explicit acceptance information for your card network and an India-issued card. A list of card brands supported by a processor is not enough to confirm merchant acceptance.
- Check the billing pattern. Determine whether you are making a one-time credit purchase, paying for metered usage, or starting a subscription with automatic renewal. For subscriptions, verify that recurring international or online payments are enabled where required.
- Review checkout currency, taxes, and conversion. Note the displayed currency and any taxes shown at checkout. Your issuer may apply its own foreign-currency conversion or other charges; check its terms rather than treating processor merchant fees as your surcharge.
- Check your issuer’s card controls. Confirm that online, international, and recurring transactions are permitted for the card. Ask the issuer whether it blocks the transaction if the payment is declined.
Razorpay says it offers domestic and international credit and debit cards among its payment methods on its payment methods page. That does not show that a particular screenshot API uses Razorpay or accepts a particular card.

If your Indian card is declined
A failed payment alone does not reveal whether the cause is the API vendor, checkout configuration, processor, or issuer. The public information available for these providers cannot diagnose an individual decline.
- Check the vendor’s own checkout or help information for supported countries, card types, and billing terms.
- Ask your card issuer whether it blocked the transaction and whether online, international, or recurring payments are enabled.
- If the issuer says it did not block the payment, contact the API provider’s billing support with the transaction time and any decline message shown at checkout.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. Its GET endpoint returns a screenshot or PDF, and the same parameter names used by other screenshot APIs work for easier switching. Cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets are removed before capture; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots.
For payment, check the plan and checkout information on ScreenshotNeo before subscribing; the facts here do not establish whether a particular Indian-issued card will be accepted. API usage details are in the ScreenshotNeo documentation.
