Choose the EP600 if adjustable fit matters most
The EP600 offers more explicitly described ways to tailor the chair to your posture. Its lumbar support adjusts in height and angle and can be locked; the seat depth and backrest height also adjust. The headrest moves in height and angle, while the armrests rotate and flip up. These details make it the more feature-rich choice on paper for someone who wants to tune several contact points rather than rely mainly on seat height and recline.
Its integrated footrest and recline to 120 degrees may also suit someone who wants to lean back and put their feet up during breaks. Boulies describes the upholstery as airy chenille hybrid mesh fabric. That description is a material specification, not evidence that the chair will feel cooler or more comfortable for every user.

Choose Master or Master Max if you prefer foam and upholstery options
The Master Series uses 100% cold-cure foam and offers more than one upholstery option. That makes it worth considering if foam seating or a particular finish is a priority. Its listed adjustments include seat height, full-length backrest recline, built-in lumbar support, 15-degree rocking with a tilt lock, and 8-way armrests.
The choice between Master and Master Max is primarily a size decision, not a different feature set: Boulies says the two sizes share the same features but vary in dimensions. Its current product-page guidance recommends the standard Master for 155–180 cm and under 110 kg, and Master Max for 180–200 cm and under 135 kg. The support FAQ describes Master Max as having a taller backrest, wider seat, and longer gas lift, and gives a suitability figure of up to 198 cm. How to choose the right size
Boulies’ recommended height bands overlap: someone 180 cm tall falls within the stated ranges for both standard Master and Master Max, while the EP600 range also overlaps both at some heights. Treat these ranges as the manufacturer’s guidance, not a personalized guarantee of fit. Height alone does not capture differences in torso and leg proportions.
- Measure yourself. Note your height and weight, then compare them with the recommended range and weight limit for the exact model.
- Compare chair dimensions. Check the product’s dimension diagram, especially seat width and depth, backrest height, and the relevant adjustment ranges.
- Use a familiar chair as a reference. Compare its seat and back dimensions with the Boulies chair rather than relying on model names or height recommendations alone.
- Confirm the exact variant. Make sure you are comparing standard Master with Master Max as intended, and verify the upholstery and dimensions listed for your market.
Check warranty, returns, and delivered price before buying
Boulies lists a five-year limited warranty and 14-day return period for the EP600, compared with a two-year limited warranty and 14-day return period for the Master. Warranty coverage and return conditions can depend on the region and seller, so read the terms that apply to the specific listing before purchase. Prices, discounts, and stock also change by market and over time; check the current delivered price for your chosen model and upholstery rather than relying on an old sale price.

What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
The published feature lists help distinguish the chairs, but they do not establish which one will feel more comfortable to you. The available information does not provide an independent head-to-head test or comparative price study. Decide from your fit, preferred seat and upholstery feel, adjustment needs, and use of recline or a footrest; where possible, try a comparable chair or check the seller’s return terms before committing.
Do not confuse the Master Series with the Master Rex. Boulies’ support FAQ describes the Rex as a distinct model, with features including an integrated leg rest and 6D armrests for its 2026 version.
