Bittensor’s September 2026 V461 release describes a new way for root validators to trade between subnet holdings, subject to governance controls. Separately, Remittix said RTX is scheduled to launch on November 24, 2026. The first is a protocol update; the second is a date stated by the token’s issuer, not an independently confirmed exchange listing.

What does Bittensor V461 change?

Bittensor’s V461 release says Spec 461 adds swap_basket, which lets root validators trade alpha held in one subnet for alpha in another. The trade passes through TAO: the validator sells alpha from one subnet, uses TAO as the intermediate asset, then buys alpha in the destination subnet. Netuid 0 serves as the basket’s TAO cash slot.

The release also says root-weight vectors and the set_root_weights mechanism are removed. Instead of using a weight vector to direct dividends into a different holding, dividends accumulate on the subnet where they were earned.

A basket trade changes the fund’s holdings and can affect its net asset value (NAV), but Bittensor’s V461 release says it does not change beta shares or an individual staker’s entitlement: “Fund shares (β) and every staker’s entitlement are untouched by a trade.”

What limits a basket trade?

The V461 release describes safeguards intended to constrain trading. These are stated defaults, not immutable limits; governance can change some of them.

Control Default or operation described in the release
Price band Each AMM leg must stay within a 2% band against the strictest of spot price and two moving price references. If a check fails, the trade rolls back.
Minimum received min_amount_out can specify the minimum acceptable destination amount. When a quote is available, btcli root swap derives a floor from the quote and a slippage setting.
Turnover The default turnover bucket is 10% of NAV and refills over 7,200 blocks, described by Bittensor as about one day at 12 seconds per block. Governance can change the bucket’s capacity and refill rate.
Destination liquidity The default cap is 10% of a subnet pool’s alpha reserve.
Concentration The default concentration cap is 1/16 of NAV.

The release also describes checks for ownership, subnet existence, enabled tokens, and the governance switch. The moving-price bands can block a sale after a sufficiently sharp decline or a purchase after a sufficiently sharp rise until the reference prices catch up. Bittensor says stop-losses are not possible by design. These controls constrain when and how a trade can execute; they do not remove the effect that a validator’s allocation choices and subnet exposure can have on NAV.

Is V461 live on Bittensor mainnet?

Not according to the deployment status in Bittensor’s September 2026 release: it said the runtime was live on testnet and not yet on mainnet when the release was published. That is a dated status statement, not confirmation of the network state on October 3, 2026.

The same release said the matching stable bittensor PyPI release did not yet include btcli root swap. It described a testnet release candidate and a testnet-specific MEV-shield caveat. These details can change with software releases and network deployment, so the September account should not be treated as current installation or transaction guidance.

For anyone assessing the feature, the practical questions are whether the runtime has reached the network they intend to use, whether governance has enabled BasketTradingEnabled, and whether a particular hotkey has been frozen from trading. Liquidity and applicable caps also matter because they constrain potential basket changes. The release describes trading as off by default: governance must enable the feature, and can freeze trading for an individual hotkey.

When is the Remittix RTX launch?

Remittix said in a GlobeNewswire release dated October 1, 2026, that RTX is scheduled to launch on November 24, 2026. A Remittix-attributed release dated September 25 stated the same date. These are repeated issuer statements; they do not independently confirm that trading will begin on that date, establish an exact opening time, or verify arrangements with any particular exchange.

The project’s surfaced terms text describes planned RTX trading on Uniswap and centralized exchanges, but does not identify confirmed centralized venues in the retrieved text. No specific CEX listing should be inferred from the stated schedule.

What did Remittix report about its presale?

In its October 1, 2026 release, Remittix reported more than $32 million raised toward a stated $36 million hard cap. The same release listed RTX at $0.21 at that time and gave $0.46 as the final presale-stage price. These are historical figures reported by the project, not independently audited amounts or current market prices.

Remittix describes the project as PayFi, including crypto-to-bank transfers and other planned or promoted financial products. Those descriptions communicate the issuer’s positioning; they do not, by themselves, establish adoption, technical performance, or investment value.
