If you mean receiving support from viewers, YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Stickers—and, since July 2026, Gifts in India—are separate platform features; the available information does not establish that viewers can buy them using UPI.
First, identify who is being paid
“UPI for YouTube Live” can refer to three different transactions. They are not interchangeable, and only one is a subscription payment to a streaming service.
- Paying a streaming service: You pay a provider for tools to schedule or run your broadcast. OneStream Live documents a UPI option for subscription checkout in India.
- Viewer fan funding on YouTube: Eligible creators can use YouTube features such as Super Chat and Super Stickers. YouTube announced Gifts in India in July 2026. These are platform features, not proof of a particular payment method for viewers.
- Receiving direct UPI support: A creator can present a UPI ID or QR code and use a separate alert workflow. That does not pay for hosting or keep the video stream online.
Before choosing, decide whether you need software to run a broadcast, a way for viewers to support you, or both.
Best option for paying a streaming service by UPI

That makes it the strongest documented match here for an Indian creator looking to pay a streaming service by UPI. The checkout evidence establishes the payment route; it does not mean that every plan includes every streaming feature.

OneStream Live describes tools for scheduling and streaming to YouTube, including prerecorded broadcasts. Its 24/7 streaming help page says continuous streaming is exclusive to YouTube, requires an Enterprise plan, and has a maximum duration of 30 days. Check the current plan screen and feature terms before subscribing, especially if uninterrupted or recurring broadcasts are your main reason for buying.

Ways viewers can support a creator during YouTube Live
Super Chat and Super Stickers
YouTube describes Super Chat and Super Stickers as paid ways for viewers to highlight a message or send an animated image in live chat. India is among the locations listed for eligible creators, but creators must meet the applicable eligibility and terms. Some video types are excluded, and these features are unavailable when live chat or comments are turned off. YouTube says they are not crowdfunding or donation tools. See YouTube’s eligibility, availability, and policy guidance.
This is YouTube fan funding, not UPI subscription checkout for streaming software. The cited feature information does not establish that a viewer can use UPI to buy Super Chat or Super Stickers.

Gifts in India
In an announcement dated July 7, 2026, the YouTube Team said Gifts were coming to India. Viewers use Jewels to send Gifts, and creators receive Rubies that represent earnings. The announcement also says enabling Gifts removes access to Super Stickers on live streams. It does not establish UPI as a payment method for buying Jewels. Stream Alert’s setup guide describes showing a UPI ID or QR code and routing supported payment notifications into an alert overlay using a phone and streaming software such as OBS. This can put direct UPI support alongside a YouTube broadcast, but it is neither a video-hosting service nor a subscription checkout for streaming software. The viewer’s payment and the creator’s alert depend on that separate workflow.
