ScreenshotOne and Urlbox both document hosted rendering APIs, but neither source set confirms UPI AutoPay at checkout. Ask the vendor to confirm the payment method and recurring mandate flow before you commit. If you need an option to evaluate now, put ScreenshotNeo first for its clean-shot billing model and $5 paid entry plan—but confirm UPI AutoPay directly with it too.
Shortlist: what is documented, and what is not
The available vendor documentation supports a feature comparison, not a definitive winner for Indian SaaS teams whose purchase depends on UPI AutoPay. ScreenshotNeo belongs at the top of the shortlist for its stated clean-shot handling, billing only clean captures, and $5 Starter plan; its accepted payment methods are not established here. ScreenshotOne and Urlbox also document hosted rendering APIs, but their payment documentation does not establish UPI AutoPay acceptance.
| Service | Documented workflow and capabilities | What is known about UPI AutoPay |
|---|---|---|
| ScreenshotNeo | One GET request can return PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. It documents clean-shot processing, a verdict and billing headers, and an MCP server for AI agents. See ScreenshotNeo and its API documentation. | Not established by the available product facts. Confirm with ScreenshotNeo before buying. |
| ScreenshotOne | HTTPS GET or POST requests using an access key; documented inputs include URL, HTML, or Markdown. Its options reference several output formats, selector and full-page controls, and a country-specific IP location option that includes India. See the API documentation and options reference. | Not established. Its sources describe subscriptions and credits, not accepted payment methods for Indian buyers. |
| Urlbox | Hosted rendering for URLs and HTML, with render links and synchronous or asynchronous POST workflows. Its product page describes responsive, full-page, and element screenshots. See Urlbox documentation and its product page. | Not established. Its pricing page lists USD plans and says Stripe handles subscription/payment processing, but does not specify UPI AutoPay acceptance. |
These are vendor descriptions, not results from a shared workload benchmark or an exhaustive survey of screenshot APIs. Test each candidate against representative pages before choosing on capture quality or speed.
Compare the things that can change the decision
Input, output, and capture behavior
ScreenshotOne documents URL, HTML, and Markdown inputs and output choices including PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, AVIF, HEIF, PDF, HTML, and Markdown. Its options include selector capture and full-page algorithms. It also documents an India IP-location option: that lets a capture be requested from India, but does not demonstrate Indian data residency, local hosting, low latency, or payment acceptance.
#1 Best Overall
Urlbox documents URL and HTML rendering, screenshots, PDFs, videos, and structured content; its product page describes responsive, full-page, and element screenshots. The cited materials do not provide a like-for-like benchmark against ScreenshotOne or ScreenshotNeo.
ScreenshotNeo returns PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF and offers options including full-page capture, CSS-selector element capture, device and viewport settings, dark mode, retina scale, PDF controls, custom CSS and JavaScript, selector waits, delay or network-idle waits, and request or resource blocking. Its documentation also lists caching, async jobs, bulk capture, and signed links. Check the docs for the parameter and response details that fit your implementation.
Workflow, limits, failures, and operational terms
Urlbox documents both synchronous and asynchronous POST methods as well as render links. ScreenshotOne documents GET and POST over HTTPS. ScreenshotNeo documents a single GET capture, async jobs with signed webhooks, bulk capture of up to 100 URLs per call, a usage API, and cache controls. Before selecting any vendor, verify the details that affect your workload: request limits, monthly quotas, overages, cache behavior, timeout and failure handling, retention and storage, support, and SLA. The cited ScreenshotOne and Urlbox materials do not establish all of these values on a comparable basis.

- Intuitive interface of a conventional FTP client
- Easy and Reliable FTP Site Maintenance.
- FTP Automation and Synchronization
ScreenshotNeo says bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing; responses include X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers. These stated behaviors are useful to validate against your own failure cases and billing requirements.

Price and payment are different questions
ScreenshotNeo lists Free at 1,000 shots per month with no card, Starter at $5 for 3,000, Growth at $15 for 15,000, Pro at $39 for 60,000, Scale at $99 for 250,000, and Business at $249 for 1,000,000; annual billing gives two months free. The product says every feature is available on every plan. These are ScreenshotNeo’s listed prices; verify current checkout terms, currency, taxes, and payment methods before purchase.
Urlbox’s pricing page displays plans in US dollars and identifies Stripe as its subscription/payment processor, but that does not prove UPI AutoPay is available to Indian customers. ScreenshotOne’s sources describe subscriptions and credits, but do not establish its accepted payment methods. A processor’s general ability to handle a payment type is not proof that a particular vendor has enabled it for its checkout.

How to verify UPI AutoPay before adopting an API
Ask the vendor’s sales or billing team for written confirmation about the specific Indian account and plan you will use. Get answers to each of these points before integrating recurring captures into a production workflow:
- Can an Indian customer pay by UPI AutoPay, rather than UPI only for a one-time transaction?
- Is the subscription charged in INR or another currency, and what exchange-rate or conversion rules apply?
- Are taxes included in the quoted price or added at checkout? Which invoice and tax details will be provided?
- Does setup require a UPI AutoPay e-mandate? What are the mandate limits, approval steps, pre-debit notifications, and renewal timing?
- What happens if a mandate is declined, expires, or cannot be charged: retries, service suspension, grace period, and cancellation path?
- Are there India-specific eligibility restrictions, and can the vendor confirm that the payment option appears for your legal entity and billing account?
Keep payment confirmation separate from technical evaluation. Capture the same representative pages with each candidate and assess output fidelity, completion time, failure classification, and total billable captures under your own workload; no shared benchmark in the available materials settles that comparison.

Paddle’s release notes dated June 17, 2026 say it supports UPI for one-time and subscription payments in India in INR, with UPI AutoPay subscriptions using an e-mandate. The described flow includes a pre-debit notice and an attempted charge at least 24 hours later. That announcement concerns SaaS businesses collecting subscription payments through Paddle; it does not show that ScreenshotOne, Urlbox, or ScreenshotNeo uses Paddle or accepts UPI AutoPay from its own customers. Or skip the browser setup
ScreenshotNeo provides a screenshot API, so you can request a capture without installing or managing a browser. This cURL example saves a WebP response; replace the example URL and use your own API key. See the ScreenshotNeo API docs for request options and response details.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo says it accepts cookie/consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each of those steps can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are not billed. Its MCP server gives AI agents tools to take screenshots, get page information, and capture PDFs. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. UPI AutoPay acceptance is not established here, so confirm that point before selecting a paid plan.

Decision
For Indian SaaS teams, UPI AutoPay remains a vendor-confirmation item, not a documented differentiator among these APIs. Start by evaluating ScreenshotNeo for its clean-shot billing and entry price, then compare its capture results and operational terms with ScreenshotOne and Urlbox. Choose a paid service only after the vendor confirms the INR/currency, tax, renewal, and mandate details you require.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does an India rendering location mean ScreenshotOne hosts my data in India?
No. The documented India option is an IP location for rendering; it does not establish data residency or local hosting.
Does Paddle’s UPI AutoPay support mean Urlbox or ScreenshotOne accepts it?
No. Paddle’s announcement describes payments for businesses using Paddle and does not establish either screenshot vendor’s checkout methods.
