Use a cloud playout service that loops prerecorded yoga videos and sends an encoder feed to YouTube Live. Upload content you have the rights to broadcast, connect the service using the YouTube stream URL and key, then monitor the broadcast in YouTube Studio. Your home computer can stay off because the service, not your device, supplies the ongoing feed.
A YouTube upload or playlist does not become a live broadcast by itself. You need an encoder—cloud-based, hardware, or software—to send video to YouTube. Describe a prerecorded loop accurately; do not present it as a live class or imply real-time instruction or interaction.
Which option fits a continuous stream without a home computer?
A cloud playout service is the most direct fit: it plays uploaded recordings on a loop and sends them to YouTube Live. YouTube’s encoder documentation also lists Gyre as a cloud-based 24/7 option, but that is a listing in YouTube’s setup guidance, not an endorsement. Compare any provider’s current plan, duration limits, storage, accepted formats, reconnection behavior, monitoring, cancellation terms, availability, and support before subscribing.
| Option | How it works | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo cloud service | Uploads are looped from the cloud and streamed to YouTube, so no home computer needs to stay on. | Check current service terms and whether its storage and billing fit your schedule. |
| Other cloud playout services | A provider plays prerecorded media and supplies the encoder feed. | Terms vary. OneStream Live’s Help Center, updated September 3, 2026, says its 24/7 option requires Enterprise and has a maximum duration of 30 days: OneStream Live’s 24/7 streaming instructions. |
| Standalone hardware encoder | YouTube lists the AJA HELO Plus as an H.264 encoder; its PlayToStream feature can schedule prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. | It still requires physical setup, a suitable source and network, and ongoing equipment maintenance. Current price and availability are not established here. |
| Home computer with encoder software | Software on the computer sends the stream to YouTube. | The computer and its connection must remain active, which conflicts with the no-home-computer requirement. |
| Phone or mobile broadcast | Useful for an attended camera or screen broadcast and for initial service setup. | It is not the simplest unattended 24/7 playlist host; the device would need to stay powered and connected. |
Check YouTube eligibility and content rights first
Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube’s current guidance says live streaming requires a verified channel, no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and a streamer who is at least 16. YouTube also says first-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned launch. Requirements can change; check YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and getting-started guidance before setup.

Clear every video and audio segment for broadcast
Use recordings and music that you own or are licensed to broadcast on YouTube Live. A cloud encoder does not grant copyright permission. YouTube states that live content must comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Keep a backup of the source files and be prepared to replace material if a rights or policy issue arises.
Set an honest expectation for viewers
Give the stream a title and description that make clear it is prerecorded yoga relaxation content played continuously. Do not imply that an instructor is present, that the stream is a live class, or that viewers can receive real-time guidance when none is provided.

Set up a cloud-planned YouTube broadcast
- Prepare the playlist. Arrange a coherent sequence of yoga relaxation videos and audio, check the transitions and sound levels, and retain a separate backup. Verify that the provider accepts your files and that the total upload fits its storage rules.
- Create the YouTube live broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Select encoder streaming and locate the server URL and stream key. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains this workflow.
- Connect the cloud service. In the service’s YouTube or encoder settings, enter the server URL and stream key from YouTube Studio, then choose the uploaded recording or playlist and enable looping. Follow the provider’s current interface labels; they can differ between services.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control the stream. If you reset the key in YouTube Studio, update it in the cloud service or its feed will no longer authenticate.
- Test before going public. If the workflow permits, run a private or unlisted test. In YouTube’s Live Control Room, check stream health, picture orientation and crop, loop transitions, audio levels, title, and description. Confirm the intended sequence plays as expected.
- Plan monitoring and recovery. Decide who will notice a stopped or unhealthy stream and how they will respond. Ask the provider what it reconnects automatically, how it reports failures, and what you must do if YouTube drops the feed. No uptime guarantee is established here; do not promise viewers uninterrupted availability.
Decide whether you need a YouTube replay
YouTube’s encoder guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not establish that a continuous broadcast longer than 12 hours will receive a full archive. If replay availability matters, schedule shorter broadcasts consistent with YouTube’s under-12-hour guidance and keep your source files separately. Check the current YouTube encoder and archiving instructions before relying on a replay.
Or let it run in the cloud
For the simplest no-home-computer route, StreamNeo plays uploaded videos on a YouTube stream. Upload your recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Its published service details say a slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. The uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot rather than quality-based tiers. StreamNeo is for YouTube only; check its current terms for fit.

Common problems and fixes
- YouTube does not accept the stream: Check that the stream URL and key were copied correctly, and that the key has not been reset. Replace the saved key in the cloud service if necessary.
- Live streaming is unavailable: Verify the channel, check for a live-streaming restriction, and allow up to 24 hours after first-time activation.
- The picture or sound is wrong: Test a representative section before launch. Check orientation, crop, source playback, audio levels, and playlist transitions in the service and YouTube Live Control Room.
- The feed stops: Check YouTube stream health, the provider’s status or alerts, and whether its reconnect process requires action. Confirm who is responsible for responding; automatic recovery is not a substitute for checking a failed broadcast.
- A replay is missing or incomplete: Do not assume a stream lasting 12 hours or more will be archived in full. Use shorter scheduled sessions if a replay is important and retain the original files.
- A video or music segment triggers a rights concern: Pause or replace the material and review your permissions. Paying for an encoder or cloud service does not clear copyright.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run the stream from a phone instead?
A phone works for an attended broadcast, but it is not the simplest unattended 24/7 playlist host because it must stay powered and connected.
Does YouTube endorse StreamNeo or another cloud service?
No endorsement is established. YouTube documents encoder streaming and lists some encoder options; a listing is not an endorsement of a particular provider.
