For classic arcade games on Nintendo Switch, start with Namco Museum for familiar coin-op hits and vertical play, Capcom Arcade Stadium for a varied Capcom catalog and convenience features, or Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection for Konami’s 1980s arcade lineup. Atari 50 is a broader interactive history, while Namco Museum Archives collects NES-era versions rather than offering the same arcade-native experience.
How to choose a retro arcade collection
Compare the actual roster and publisher first. Then check whether a collection presents arcade versions, NES-era games, or a cross-platform history. Features such as rewind, save states, speed controls, display options, leaderboards, multiplayer, and screen orientation can shape how well a package fits your preferences.

Namco’s launch announcement says classic games other than PAC-MAN VS. support online rankings. PAC-MAN VS. has a specific multiplayer setup: four-player play requires two Switch consoles, with up to three ghost players on one console and the PAC-MAN player on the other. That makes it a less straightforward choice if you expect four players to share one Switch.
Capcom Arcade Stadium: best for a varied Capcom arcade library and convenience features
Nintendo UK’s listing describes three packs covering games released from 1984 to 2001, across shooters, fighting games, and action games. Multiplayer varies by title and is local, so check the specific game’s listing if playing with others is important.
