For the G923, Gran Turismo’s Logitech compatibility notice records repairs in PS4 system software 10.50 and PS5 system software 23.01-07.00.00, released March 8, 2023. If the wheel will live on a desk
Prioritize clamp stability, pedal placement and the ability to remove the wheel. A high-powered base on a lightweight desk can be less usable than a lower-powered wheel on a rigid surface. Measure desk thickness and clearance before ordering; neither a product name nor a console-compatibility label guarantees that your furniture will accept the clamp.

- Update the console first. On PS4, use system software 10.50 or later; on PS5, use 23.01-07.00.00 or later. These are the versions Gran Turismo’s Logitech notice associates with G923 connectivity repairs, released March 8, 2023.
- Check the exact package. Confirm that the wheel, power supply, pedals and any required USB cable are present. If you bought a modular or direct-drive package, identify which components are optional rather than assuming the product name includes them.
- Mount the wheel securely. Clamp it to a rigid desk or attach it to a compatible wheel stand or cockpit. Keep the wheel aligned with your seating position and route cables so the pedals cannot pull the wheel or catch under a chair.
- Connect the pedals and power. Follow the model’s connector order, connect the power supply where supplied, then connect the wheel directly to the PlayStation. Avoid adding a USB hub during initial setup so there are fewer possible connection points.

Troubleshooting common problems
The console or GT7 does not see the wheel
- Install the current PS4 or PS5 system software, then fully shut down and restart the console.
- Disconnect the wheel USB cable, power-cycle the wheel, reconnect it directly to the console and select the correct platform mode.
- Try another console USB port and remove hubs or extension devices while diagnosing.
- Check the GT7 manual’s supported-model list and confirm that you did not purchase a PC-only SKU.
The G923 connects but lacks the expected TRUEFORCE effects
