For most people, a 2,048Wh LiFePO4 power station is the most useful size for serious camping and selected home essentials. Among the four 2kWh-class models compared here, the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max is the lightest at 23kg, the Anker SOLIX F2000 has a documented 20ms UPS and 100W USB-C ports, the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus has the highest published cycle-life claim, and the BLUETTI AC200L offers the largest documented expansion capacity. None should be treated as a whole-home generator without an approved transfer solution.
The right choice depends on continuous and surge wattage, expected runtime, recharge conditions, UPS behavior, portability, regional voltage and expansion options—not watt-hours alone.
What a portable power station can—and cannot—do
A portable power station combines a rechargeable battery, inverter, charging electronics and multiple outlets in one enclosure. Its battery stores energy in watt-hours (Wh); its inverter supplies alternating-current power in watts (W). Those two ratings answer different questions:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors- Watt-hours determine duration. A 2,048Wh battery contains that much stored energy under the manufacturer’s test conditions. AC conversion, the station’s own electronics and battery-protection limits reduce the energy available to your appliance.
- Continuous watts determine simultaneous load. Add the running watts of everything connected and keep the total below the station’s continuous AC rating.
- Surge watts determine startup compatibility. Refrigerators, freezers, pumps, compressors and some power tools can draw several times their running wattage for a short period. The station must tolerate that startup surge as well as the ongoing load.
A station is normally intended to power connected devices. It is not automatically safe to energize a house by plugging it into a wall outlet. Back-feeding can injure utility workers and damage equipment. Use a listed transfer switch or an electrician-installed inlet when you need to supply selected household circuits, and follow local electrical rules.

How much capacity do you need?
Use the runtime equation
Start with the appliance’s measured running watts and the number of hours required:
energy needed (Wh) = running watts × hours
Then allow for inverter losses, the station’s idle consumption and startup headroom. Because those losses vary by model and load, treat the result as an estimate rather than a promise. A 100W communications load planned for 10 hours needs at least 1,000Wh before losses; a 300W load for the same period needs at least 3,000Wh and therefore exceeds the practical runtime of a single 2,048Wh station.
Refrigerator, CPAP and modem planning
Measure each device with a plug-in power meter if possible. Refrigerators cycle on and off, so a nameplate running wattage does not reveal their daily energy use; the compressor’s starting surge is a separate compatibility check. CPAP machines can have low average consumption but may run all night, while a modem and router draw continuously. Add the measured watt-hours for the planned period, then leave margin for conversion losses and unexpected cycling.

It cannot be declared sufficient from capacity alone. Confirm the refrigerator’s startup requirement, the CPAP’s humidifier and heated-tube settings, and the station’s continuous and surge ratings.
Prioritize loads during an outage
List essential circuits in order: communications, medical equipment, refrigeration, lighting and only then discretionary tools or cooking appliances. Run high-wattage appliances one at a time if their combined demand approaches the inverter limit. Turn off battery-draining features such as unnecessary displays or wireless controls when the model allows it.

EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max: lightest documented 2kWh option
The DELTA 2 Max combines a 2,048Wh LFP battery with 2,400W of total AC output and a 4,800W surge rating. That combination gives it enough inverter headroom for many refrigerators, kitchen appliances and small tools, provided each appliance’s startup demand fits the surge limit. Its 23kg listed net weight is the lowest among the four models for which a weight is documented here.
Solar charging is rated up to 1,000W, and the station supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth app control. The battery is rated for 3,000 cycles to at least 80% capacity. It can accept up to two extra batteries, allowing more stored energy for extended outages or multi-day camps; the final capacity depends on the compatible batteries selected.
EcoFlow describes an “AC Always On Mode” that keeps the power button active through outages and recovery. That is manufacturer marketing language, not an independently measured UPS transfer result. If you need uninterrupted operation for networking or medical equipment, ask whether the connected device tolerates the model’s actual transfer behavior and test the complete setup before relying on it.
Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus: longest published cycle-life claim
The Explorer 2000 Plus is presented as an expandable station. Jackery support documentation identifies a LiFePO4 battery rated to retain 70% or more capacity after up to 6,000 charging cycles. This is a manufacturer rating, not an independent laboratory test, and it describes a capacity threshold rather than a guarantee of identical runtime throughout the battery’s life.

The same support material says that during a sudden power failure, power can continue within the station’s remaining battery capacity. That wording does not establish a universal transfer time or compatibility with every sensitive load. Before buying, verify the exact output voltage, socket arrangement, continuous wattage, surge rating, solar input and expansion accessories on the listing for your country. The cited information does not provide a universal US specification, so do not infer one from a different regional page.
Anker SOLIX F2000 (PowerHouse 767): documented UPS and USB-C capability
The SOLIX F2000 manual specifies a 2,048Wh cell capacity, a 2,400W maximum AC output and up to 1,000W solar input. It documents a 20ms UPS and 100W USB-C ports, useful for laptops, monitors and other USB-C equipment without using an AC adapter. An expansion battery raises total capacity to 4,096Wh.
The manual says the AC outlets can power devices up to 2,400W. CPAP users should turn Power Saving mode off, because automatic shutdown behavior can interrupt a low-wattage medical load. Test the CPAP with its humidifier and heated tubing configured exactly as you intend to use them.
Storage procedure from the manual
- Turn off all outputs before putting the station away.
- Store it in a dry, cool environment.
- Check the displayed capacity weekly.
- If capacity is below 30%, charge it fully.
- Charge to 100% once every three months.
These steps reduce the chance that a stored unit is deeply discharged when an outage or trip begins. Follow the current manual if its maintenance instructions change.
BLUETTI AC200L: greatest documented expansion ceiling
BLUETTI states that two B300 batteries can raise total capacity to 8,192Wh. That is the largest expansion figure in this comparison and can support longer outages when the extra batteries are practical to transport and recharge.

The cited regional manual lists 2,048Wh LiFePO4 capacity, 2,400W maximum AC+DC/PV input, 2,500W maximum off-grid AC+DC output and a 28.3kg weight. It is a Spanish regional document. Confirm the voltage, outlet types, firmware, charging accessories and local availability before treating those specifications as a recommendation for the United States or another region. A surge rating and UPS transfer time are not established in the cited material.
Solar charging: read the maximum as a ceiling
A 1,000W solar-input rating means the station’s charge controller can accept up to that electrical input under its specified voltage and current window. It does not mean a 1,000W panel array will deliver 1,000W in the field. Sun angle, shading, temperature, panel orientation, cable losses and the controller’s operating window all change the result.
Plan a solar setup
- Check the station’s permitted solar voltage and current range in its regional manual.
- Choose panels whose combined voltage remains inside that range in both hot and cold conditions.
- Use compatible connectors and cables; do not exceed the input current.
- Place panels in full sun and avoid partial shade, which can reduce output sharply.
- Watch the station’s live input display and reposition panels as the sun moves.
Solar input is especially valuable for camping and multi-day outages, but it cannot be used to promise a fixed recharge time without location, weather and panel details.
UPS and pass-through behavior
A UPS or EPS mode keeps a connected device powered when utility electricity fails, but transfer time, grounding, neutral bonding and pass-through behavior differ by model and region. The Anker manual’s 20ms figure is model-specific. EcoFlow’s Always On description is a feature claim rather than an independently measured transfer specification. The Jackery and BLUETTI materials cited here do not establish a universal transfer time.
For a modem, router or computer, connect the station and simulate an outage while observing whether the device reboots. For CPAP or other medical equipment, consult the equipment manufacturer and test with the exact accessories and settings. Do not assume that a station’s AC outlet behaves like a hard-wired medical-grade UPS.

Camping: portability and idle draw can outweigh surge power
At a campsite, weight, wheels, handles, idle consumption, USB-C output, low-temperature limits and solar performance may matter more than the largest surge number. The DELTA 2 Max has a documented 23kg weight; the AC200L is listed at 28.3kg. Weights for the Explorer 2000 Plus and SOLIX F2000 are not stated in the cited material, so check their current regional listings when lifting and vehicle-loading constraints matter.
A 2kWh station can run cooking appliances or a portable refrigerator only when their running and startup loads fit the inverter. High-heat appliances consume energy quickly; use them in short sessions and monitor the remaining Wh. Keep ventilation clear, protect the unit from rain and condensation, and observe the manufacturer’s temperature limits, which are model-specific and not supplied uniformly here.
Home backup: build a prioritized circuit plan
- Write down every essential device and its running and startup watts.
- Calculate the required watt-hours for the outage period, adding allowance for inverter losses and cycling.
- Choose a station whose continuous rating exceeds the largest simultaneous load and whose surge rating covers motor startup.
- Decide whether direct plug-in operation is sufficient or whether an electrician should install a transfer switch or inlet.
- Test the complete setup before an emergency, including refrigerator startup, CPAP settings, communications equipment and recharge options.
The cited products are portable stations, not documented whole-home generators. A transfer solution, circuit limits and local electrical code determine what can be powered safely. Never connect a station to a household receptacle to energize the wiring.

- Choose DELTA 2 Max when the documented 23kg weight, 2,400W output, 4,800W surge, app control and 1,000W solar ceiling are attractive and you can validate its transfer behavior for your devices.
- Choose Explorer 2000 Plus when expandable storage and the manufacturer’s 6,000-cycle-to-70%-capacity claim are priorities, while accepting that regional output specifications must be verified.
- Choose SOLIX F2000 when a documented 20ms UPS, 100W USB-C ports, 2,400W AC output and 4,096Wh expansion match your equipment; disable Power Saving for CPAP use as directed.
- Choose AC200L when the possibility of 8,192Wh with two B300 batteries matters and you can confirm that the Spanish regional manual’s voltage and socket details match your market.
Buying checklist
- Confirm local voltage, plug type, warranty terms and firmware support.
- Verify continuous AC watts and surge watts against every motor-driven appliance.
- Check whether the station has the USB-C power level, RV TT-30R outlet or other connectors you actually need; these details are not established uniformly for all four models.
- Confirm solar voltage/current limits and whether your panels require an adapter.
- Price expansion batteries, compatible folding panels, charging cables and protective cases as part of the system.
- Read the current manual for operating-temperature limits, storage charging and pass-through restrictions.
- Buy only from a listing that clearly identifies the exact regional model and included accessories.
Bottom line
A 2,048Wh LiFePO4 station is a strong starting point for camping and selected outage loads, but usable runtime depends on appliance watts, compressor surges, inverter losses and recharge conditions. The DELTA 2 Max emphasizes lower documented weight, the SOLIX F2000 supplies the clearest UPS and USB-C specifications, the Explorer 2000 Plus advertises the longest cycle-life claim, and the AC200L offers the largest stated expansion path. Match those strengths to measured loads and regional specifications, then test the complete setup before you need it.
