Options for a live fireplace camera
CamStreamer for an Axis camera
YouTube lists CamStreamer as an in-camera application designed for Axis Communications cameras, with continuous and scheduled streaming support. It is relevant when the camera itself is the source. The listing does not establish that CamStreamer replays prerecorded fireplace videos as a playlist.
Standalone hardware encoder
A standalone hardware encoder can replace a software encoder in a live-camera setup, particularly when external video hardware is involved. StreamYard is a browser-based production studio that YouTube lists with guest, chat, and branding features. AWS Elemental MediaLive is listed as a broadcast-grade processing service. These may fit produced or engineered broadcasts, but the available product descriptions do not establish either as an equally simple unattended playlist tool.
Check stream duration and recordings before relying on an archive
Do not assume a 24/7 live stream will become a complete 24-hour YouTube recording. Restream’s 2026 YouTube help page says streams under 12 hours are archived; this is Restream’s description of YouTube behavior, not a statement from YouTube’s own help page. Separately, Restream warns that its own server may be restarted for maintenance when a stream runs over 24 hours and recommends restarting daily. That warning concerns Restream’s service, not every encoder or cloud tool.

A streaming tool cannot grant rights to fireplace footage or music. Use material you created or have permission to broadcast. A stream that runs continuously is not automatically eligible for monetization: YouTube says its monetization policies apply to live streams and that content should be original and “authentic.” Repetitive or mass-produced work can be ineligible, and reused content without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or added value may fail monetization review.
