Do not assume another Bluetooth shutter, ring, or camera remote will work just because Kindle Click is reported to use Bluetooth. Amazon Kindle Support says, “Pairing a Bluetooth phone, keyboard, or mouse isn’t supported at this time” in its Kindle Bluetooth audio-device help. That limitation cautions against generic Bluetooth pairing; it does not establish Kindle Click’s detailed protocol support or an exhaustive list of supported accessories.

Built-in double-tap page advance for two Kindle models
Amazon documents double-tap page advance and navigation for the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (12th Generation, 2024 release). On those models, double-tapping the side or back can turn a page or navigate to Home/Library. Amazon says it tested official cases, but the feature may not work with every third-party case. This built-in option avoids buying a handheld remote, but it is available only on those specified models.
Kindle apps and Fire tablets are different cases
Amazon’s accessibility information discusses page-flipping and continuous scrolling in Kindle apps, and switch access with compatible Bluetooth devices on Fire tablets. Those app and tablet features do not show that a generic Bluetooth remote works with a dedicated Kindle e-reader.
