For a 24/7 loop of uploaded videos, StreamNeo is the most direct fit: it runs the loop in the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and gives you a free first day. For a live phone camera that needs multiple mobile connections, look at SRTLA-capable options such as Moblin or BELABOX. Fixed-camera and browser-based live productions call for different tools again.
First decide what “always-on” means for your channel
IRL Pro and 24/7 YouTube streaming solve different problems. IRL Pro is an Android mobile-streaming app: its documented setup sends a live camera feed over one network connection using RTMP or SRT. It does not provide bonded multi-link transmission in the cited setup instructions. A channel that loops prerecorded videos, a fixed camera that broadcasts continuously, and a mobile creator walking outdoors therefore need different alternatives.
- Mobile live camera: You are broadcasting what your phone camera sees, often over changing cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
- Fixed live camera or continuous live production: A stationary camera, studio, or cloud-produced show needs to remain live.
- Prerecorded video loop: Uploaded recordings or a playlist play continuously as a YouTube live stream; no live camera feed is required.
Use the matching section below rather than treating every “24/7 streaming” product as an IRL Pro replacement.
Best fit for a prerecorded 24/7 YouTube loop: StreamNeo
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; the cloud loops the content, so your computer, OBS, and home internet connection do not need to stay on. Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage pooled across your active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. Uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding or quality tiers.

Best alternatives for live mobile streaming
Keep one connection: IRL Pro with SRT or RTMP
If your goal is still to stream a live Android phone camera, IRL Pro may already fit the workflow. Its setup guide documents RTMP and SRT over a single connection. SRT can recover packet loss within a configurable time buffer, which can help on a variable link, but it does not combine multiple independent links.
Choose this approach when one mobile connection is adequate and you want a relatively direct phone-to-YouTube setup. If you need to use two SIMs, or a SIM and Wi-Fi together, look for SRTLA bonding instead.

Use SRTLA when the mobile rig needs bonded links
SRTLA spreads a stream across multiple links. The protocol guidance identifies Moblin and BELABOX as SRTLA options and points to them as alternatives when bonding is needed. This is the relevant distinction from IRL Pro’s documented single-connection setup: resilience can come from combining available links rather than relying on one network path.
Before choosing, confirm that your full rig supports the same protocol end to end, including the receiving or relay setup. A second connection helps only if it is available, configured, and usable at the places where you stream.

Options for fixed-camera or continuous live production
Browser-based cloud studio: Upstream
YouTube’s verified encoder directory describes Upstream as a browser-based cloud studio for 24/7 live video streaming. It is a possible fit for continuous live production, not a direct replacement for an Android phone app. The directory description does not establish current pricing, source restrictions, geographic availability, plan limits, or recovery behavior; check those details against your intended setup before committing.
Standalone hardware encoder: AJA HELO Plus
YouTube lists the AJA HELO Plus as a standalone H.264 encoder for streaming directly to YouTube Live and recording at the same time. It may suit a fixed-camera installation where dedicated hardware is preferable to keeping a computer running. Confirm that your camera connections and unattended operating requirements match the device; the listing alone does not establish compatibility with every camera or a complete 24/7 installation.

Relay and remote-control tools are not full substitutes
IRL.software describes IRLServer as relay infrastructure that accepts SRTLA, SRT, and RTMP and works with several IRL rigs, including BELABOX, Moblin, and LiveU. That makes it a relay or hosting component, not a phone capture app or a documented prerecorded-video loop service. The same site describes IRLControl as remote control for OBS and Moblin.
IRLToolkit’s encoder support list includes LiveU Solo, BELABOX, OBS, IRL Pro, Prism Live, Streamlabs, and CameraFi. Treat that list as compatibility guidance, not an independent assessment of stream quality or reliability.
Set up the right kind of YouTube stream
- Confirm live access early. YouTube says, “Enabling a live stream for the first time may take up to 24 hours.” Enable live streaming and allow for that wait before scheduling a launch.
- Choose the source and operating model. Decide whether YouTube will receive a live phone feed, a fixed-camera or produced live show, or uploaded prerecorded videos. Pick a phone app or bonded rig, hardware encoder, cloud studio, or cloud looping service accordingly.
- Check protocol compatibility. For a mobile setup, verify whether the sender and receiver use RTMP, SRT, or SRTLA. If bonding multiple links is essential, a single-link SRT workflow is not equivalent to SRTLA.
- Configure the YouTube destination securely. Use the stream key associated with the intended YouTube live stream, enter it only in the selected encoder or service, and do not publish or share it. If a key is exposed, replace it in YouTube before continuing.
- Run a controlled test. Check that the intended video or camera reaches the correct YouTube channel, that audio is present when needed, and that the stream remains stable through the network and equipment you plan to use. Test reconnect behavior rather than assuming a product listing guarantees recovery.
- Review rights and channel policies. Only stream video and audio you have permission to use. A live loop is not a workaround for copyright restrictions, and repeated or reused material can raise separate YouTube monetization or channel-policy concerns. Review the applicable YouTube rules for your content and channel before leaving a stream unattended.
Common problems and what to check
- The channel cannot start a live stream: If this is the first enablement, YouTube says activation may take up to 24 hours. Complete enablement in advance and wait for access to become available.
- The stream will not connect: Check that the encoder is pointed at the intended YouTube destination and that the stream key is current and entered correctly. Replace a key that may have been exposed.
- Mobile video drops on the move: Determine whether the problem is loss on one link or lack of coverage altogether. SRT’s configurable recovery buffer addresses packet loss; if you have multiple usable connections and need them combined, consider an SRTLA-capable workflow.
- A “24/7” tool does not accept your source: Continuous operation does not mean every tool accepts every input. Verify camera, browser, prerecorded-video, and protocol support for the particular workflow before subscribing or installing hardware.
- A loop stops after a YouTube disconnect: Confirm what reconnect behavior the chosen service or encoder actually provides. For StreamNeo, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream is included; do not infer the same behavior for another option from a directory listing.
- The stream is live but the content is unsuitable: Check rights for all video and audio and review YouTube’s policies on copyright and reused content. Technical continuity does not establish permission or monetization eligibility.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prerecorded YouTube loop, StreamNeo keeps the stream running without leaving a computer or home connection on. Upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It streams the upload at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and includes a free first day with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month.
