StreamNeo is the first option to consider if you want a prerecorded Indian classical music program to keep streaming on YouTube without leaving a computer on: it runs in the cloud, supports uploaded video up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. OneStream Live is another documented cloud alternative. If you prefer local control, OBS Studio is a free option, but your computer and connection must stay up. StreamYard can start a scheduled prerecorded broadcast, though its cited documentation does not establish an unattended 24/7 loop.
Which Gyre alternative fits a 24/7 music stream?
The main choice is not simply between brand names: it is whether you want a cloud service to keep the stream running, or want to operate it yourself from a computer. The options below differ in what their cited documentation establishes. Provider descriptions are not independent reliability tests, and prices or plan limits can change.

|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud streaming to YouTube from uploaded videos, with 24/7 looping and playlists; uploaded quality is retained up to 4K 60fps. | A creator who wants a cloud-run YouTube loop without keeping a home computer online. | It streams to YouTube only. Check that the service’s storage and slot limits fit your program. |
| OneStream Live | Its help documentation describes cloud-based 24/7 YouTube streaming from prerecorded content, with a maximum allowed duration of 30 days. OneStream Live help | A creator seeking another hosted loop. | Confirm current plan limits, scheduling details, and pricing directly with the provider. |
| OBS Studio | Gyre’s music guide identifies OBS as a free, open-source local encoding option. Gyre’s music-stream guide | A creator who wants local control and can maintain the computer and network. | You are responsible for uptime, configuration, and restarting or recovering the stream. |
| StreamYard | Its help article says a scheduled prerecorded broadcast can start at the selected time without the creator being online to start it. StreamYard help | A scheduled prerecorded broadcast or event. | The cited documentation does not establish continuous 24/7 playlist looping. |
| Gyre | Gyre describes cloud-hosted continuous streams from prerecorded video and positions its service for music streams. Gyre’s guide | A baseline for comparing hosted automation. | These are vendor claims; no independent reliability comparison is established here. |
Among alternatives documented for this workflow, OneStream Live is a close like-for-like hosted option. OBS is the free local route. StreamYard’s scheduled-broadcast feature is not, on the cited evidence, a substitute for an always-on loop.
Why StreamNeo is the first option to try
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube stream running from the cloud, so the computer at home can be off. A slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot (pooled across active slots), looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. All plans have the same features; the billing period changes. Uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding or quality tiers.
#1 Best Overall
To start, upload your recording or prepare a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo is a YouTube-only service and plays uploaded videos; it does not stream from a camera. Learn more at StreamNeo. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. After that, choose a billing period: Daily $0.99 per day · Weekly $2.99 per week · Monthly $9.99 per month · 6 months $49.99 for 6 months · Yearly $89.99 a year. You can cancel any time. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.
Clear music and visual rights before you go live
A streaming tool does not grant permission to broadcast music. For every track and visual, identify who controls the recording, composition, performance, and artwork or video, then confirm that your permissions cover live streaming on YouTube and the territories where viewers may watch. A composition being in the public domain does not, by itself, clear a particular modern recording of it.
YouTube Help says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” YouTube may interrupt or terminate a stream when it detects third-party content. Even with a license, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist for the stream to avoid interruption. Ask about allowlisting before launch and keep permission records and a rights-holder contact available. YouTube Help: copyrighted content in live streams

Set up a reliable Indian classical music program
1. Make a rights inventory
List each recording, performer, composition, and visual asset you plan to use. Confirm that the permissions cover the intended use, platform, and territories. Resolve unclear ownership before scheduling a continuous stream; a match during a live broadcast can interrupt it.
Rank #3
2. Choose hosted or local operation
For cloud automation, compare StreamNeo and OneStream Live with Gyre, checking current stream-duration limits, storage, number of simultaneous streams, playlist controls, recovery behavior, and price. OneStream Live’s help documentation states a 30-day maximum duration for its 24/7 streaming; this is a provider-specific limit, not a YouTube-wide rule. For a local setup, OBS is the free option identified in Gyre’s guide, but the computer, software configuration, and internet connection become your responsibility.
3. Prepare the audio and visual sequence
Gyre’s guide describes pairing prerecorded music with a static image, GIF, or visualizer. Choose an arrangement that suits the program and check rights for the visual layer as carefully as for the sound. Make sure the files and playlist order are intentional before starting a long run.
Rank #4
4. Test the stream and its recovery path
Before treating the channel as always-on, verify that the correct YouTube channel and stream key are connected, the opening audio and visuals play as intended, and the service’s limits match your schedule. Confirm how you will respond to a YouTube content match or an interrupted stream. Do not assume that a provider’s description establishes a particular uptime level or recovery time.

When a local OBS setup makes sense
OBS suits creators who want local control and have a computer and stable connection they can leave running. Gyre’s guide identifies it as a free, open-source encoding path, but it is not a managed cloud loop: power loss, a computer restart, network interruption, or a misconfiguration can stop the broadcast. The sources here do not establish a specific computer model or hardware requirement, so assess the machine you already have rather than buying a model on the basis of an unsupported recommendation.

Costs and practical trade-offs
OBS itself is the free local route identified in Gyre’s guide, but that does not account for the cost or effort of keeping a computer and connection available. Hosted services shift operation to provider infrastructure; compare their current plans and limits directly, because a complete independently verified price comparison is not established here. StreamNeo’s plans offer the same product with different billing lengths, and its first day is free without a card. Consider the value of avoiding home-computer runtime alongside storage, stream duration, and the number of channels you need—not just the subscription amount.
Or let it run in the cloud
Upload your recording or playlist to StreamNeo, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and automatic recovery is available if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. Start your StreamNeo free day.
