GetFullPage is the clearest fit if you specifically need an extension that says it handles lazy-loaded content and lets you limit infinite-scroll capture. GoFullPage is a reasonable one-click starting point, while FullPageShot is more explicit about where virtualized feeds and embedded-frame content can fail. These are vendor-described capabilities, not results from a controlled comparison; always inspect the finished capture.

What “lazy-loaded” means for a screenshot
Many pages delay loading images or other content until the relevant section approaches the visible area. An extension that scrolls down the document can give the page an opportunity to load that content before composing a full-page capture. It does not guarantee that every site will finish loading or that the extension can capture every kind of scrolling layout.
Ordinary lazy images
A page with a fixed set of images that load as you scroll is often a more straightforward case. For GoFullPage, the publisher’s FAQ recommends manually scrolling through the page and loading content before capture. Pause where needed, then check the resulting image for missing sections.

Infinite-scroll and virtualized pages
An endless feed may keep adding items, while a virtualized page may remove off-screen items and reuse their space. That differs from a fixed page with lazy images: scrolling may not leave every item present in the document at once. FullPageShot identifies virtualized and infinite feeds as limitations; GetFullPage describes configurable safety limits rather than promising unlimited capture. Decide which portion you need, and use an available limit rather than assuming a single screenshot will contain the entire feed.
Inner scroll panels, frames, and PDFs
Some pages scroll within a panel instead of scrolling the main document. GoFullPage and GetFullPage describe support for inner or nested scrolling, and FullPageShot says it handles most large inner panels. Those descriptions are not guarantees for every custom layout. Embedded frames can also behave differently: FullPageShot specifically notes that lazy content inside some frames may be incomplete. GoFullPage’s FAQ says its extension cannot access PDF documents for scrolling, and warns that some sites control scrolling with custom JavaScript.

How to capture a page that loads content as you scroll
- Open the target page. Wait for its initial content to appear. If the page uses a separate scrollable panel, identify that panel rather than assuming the browser window is the only scrolling area.
- Scroll through the content you need. Move down the document or panel in sections, pausing for images and other delayed content to render. This is especially relevant for GoFullPage, whose FAQ recommends loading the content before capture.
- Start the extension’s full-page capture. Wait for its scrolling and image composition or stitching to finish. For a nested panel, use an extension whose listing describes inner or nested scrolling support.
- Inspect the output at the top, middle, and bottom. Look for blank image gaps, missing feed items, repeated sticky headers, or abrupt cutoffs. If the page virtualizes items or uses custom scrolling, try capturing a bounded region or a different workflow.
- Choose the format for the job. PNG or JPEG suits an image deliverable; PDF is useful when page-sized output and pagination matter. Check how the extension represents long pages in its chosen format.
- Review the extension listing before installing. Confirm the publisher identity, current version, permissions, and privacy disclosure. Store disclosures are provided by developers and are not an independent security audit.
How to compare extensions for your page
- Scroll behavior: Does the extension scroll the page in a way that gives lazy content time to render, or does it expect you to preload content?
- Layout support: Does its listing address inner scroll panels, nested scrolling, or embedded frames relevant to your page?
- Feed boundaries: For an infinite or virtualized feed, does it offer a configurable limit or state a limitation?
- Output and editing: Compare image and PDF formats, PDF pagination, and any crop, annotation, or editor options you actually need.
- Trust and compatibility: Check the exact listing identity, current version, Chrome requirements, permissions, and developer-provided privacy disclosure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does scrolling the page guarantee every lazy-loaded image will appear?
No. Scrolling gives a page an opportunity to load delayed content, but the result depends on the site and its scrolling behavior. Inspect the capture for gaps or missing sections.
Can one screenshot contain an entire infinite-scroll feed?
Not necessarily. A feed may be endless or may replace off-screen items as it scrolls. Capture a bounded section or use a tool that lets you set a safety limit.

Can Chrome screenshot extensions capture a PDF open in the browser?
GoFullPage’s FAQ says its extension cannot access PDF documents for scrolling. Use a PDF-specific workflow when the source itself is a PDF.
