Choose by how reps work in the field: SPOTIO is a broad option for territory and activity execution, SalesRabbit is built around door-to-door canvassing, Badger Maps suits route-first reps who need CRM records on a map, and Salesforce Maps is most relevant to organizations already using Salesforce. Map My Customers is another map-oriented option for smaller or mid-sized B2B teams. Before buying, verify current plan terms, offline behavior, CRM sync, and—in Salesforce’s case—the current mobile workflow.
What field sales tracking software does
Field sales tracking software adds operational tools for work outside the office to customer and pipeline records. Depending on the product, those tools can include mapping, territory assignment, route planning, visit logging, appointment scheduling, and manager visibility into activity.
It is not automatically a replacement for a CRM. A CRM is typically the system of record for accounts, contacts, opportunities, and pipeline; field software helps reps and managers organize visits and capture what happens on the ground. The distinction matters most when the two systems do not share data cleanly: reps may have to enter the same update twice, or managers may see incomplete activity.
Which option fits each field-sales workflow?
| Option | Best-fit workflow | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| SPOTIO | Broad B2B or B2C field execution, including territories, routes, activities, pipeline, and AI tools, according to its platform page and a 2026 comparison. | The comparison reports a 25-license minimum for the B2B plan and custom pricing. Confirm current minimums, quote, and which features your workflow requires. |
| SalesRabbit | Door-to-door prospecting and canvassing. Its site describes geographic-area management, progress and historical data, calendar scheduling, and digital contracts with e-signatures. | Confirm which plan includes required tools; add-ons and higher tiers may affect the total. Third-party prices are not binding vendor quotes. |
| Badger Maps | Route-first reps who want CRM account data on a map, with mobile check-ins and notes. A 2026 comparison describes integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. | Verify offline operation and whether its team dashboards and territory assignment meet your management needs. |
| Salesforce Maps | Salesforce organizations seeking mapping and territory planning connected to Sales Cloud account data. | Confirm the current Salesforce mobile workflow, any migration requirements, and licensing. A reported standalone app retirement date has passed. |
| Map My Customers | A lightweight, map-oriented execution option for small or mid-sized B2B teams, as characterized by a 2026 comparison. | Check current integrations, pricing, and offline needs directly. |
For broad field execution: SPOTIO
SPOTIO’s platform page describes territory management, route optimization, activity logging, pipeline management, and AI capabilities in a mobile-first product. It says workflows can be adapted for B2B and B2C, including door-to-door teams. A 2026 comparison reports a 25-license minimum for its B2B plan and custom pricing; treat both as details to confirm with SPOTIO before budgeting.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
For door-to-door work: SalesRabbit
SalesRabbit’s site describes assigning and managing geographic areas, tracking progress and historical data, scheduling appointments with Google or Outlook calendar sync, and digital contracts with electronic signatures. It lists telecom, solar, security, roofing, and pest control among the sectors it serves. TechnologyAdvice’s comparison, published September 24, 2026, calls it strongest for door-to-door and canvassing teams. That is the publisher’s assessment, not a universal ranking.
The same comparison reports SalesRabbit Pro at $49 per user per month billed annually or $75 monthly, Team at $59 monthly, RoofLink Pro at $120 monthly, and Enterprise as custom-priced. These are third-party reported prices; confirm current plan names, availability, and billing terms with the vendor. SalesRabbit also hosts a customer testimonial from Taylor Nowell, President of Sales for Soco Solar, describing its use for tracking visited areas and daily activity. It is a vendor-hosted testimonial, not independent comparative evidence.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
For route-first reps: Badger Maps
A 2026 SPOTIO comparison describes Badger Maps as a route-planning and territory-visualization tool that maps CRM data from Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics, with mobile check-ins and notes. The comparison reports routes of up to 120 stops and annual pricing from $58 per user per month. Those figures and capabilities should be verified directly before purchase. It also characterizes team dashboards and territory assignment as more limited than in broader field-sales platforms and says reviews include complaints about offline functionality.
For Salesforce organizations: Salesforce Maps
A 2026 comparison describes Salesforce Maps as a mapping and territory-management layer for Salesforce Sales Cloud, using account data for territory planning, routing, and scheduling. It reported that the standalone Salesforce Maps mobile app was scheduled to retire on August 31, 2026, with functionality moving to the Salesforce mobile app. Because that date has passed, confirm directly with Salesforce which app and workflow are currently supported, what migration is required, and how licensing applies. Do not rely on an old third-party price as a current quote.

For account intelligence rather than field execution
TechnologyAdvice’s 2026 comparison also includes ZoomInfo for mobile account intelligence and prospect prioritization. That addresses finding or prioritizing accounts, which is not the same job as planning routes, assigning territories, and recording field visits. Map My Customers is the comparison’s other field-execution alternative; verify its fit and current terms directly.
How to choose a field sales tracking app
Start with the field motion rather than a feature checklist. A canvasser working individual doors needs a different daily workflow from a rep visiting a scheduled list of existing accounts across a large territory. Then test whether the app fits the team’s CRM, connectivity, and management requirements.

- Map a typical workday. Write down how reps receive prospects or accounts, plan stops, record visits, schedule follow-ups, and update pipeline. Identify the steps that happen on a phone in the field.
- Check route and territory needs. Compare expected stop volume, route optimization, territory design, and assignment controls. Route planning and territory management are related but distinct; a strong mapping tool may not provide the manager controls your team needs.
- Test CRM synchronization. In a demo, use a representative account: open its record, log a visit, add notes, and create a follow-up. Check which system owns each field, when changes sync, and whether reps must duplicate updates.
- Test a connectivity gap. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the exact records and actions available without a signal, then reconnect and observe how updates sync. This is especially important for rural routes, buildings, and other dead zones; do not assume that an app’s general offline claim covers every record or action.
- Evaluate the manager view. Confirm that managers can see the activity they need for coaching and territory oversight, and check whether reporting and assignment features are included in the proposed plan.
- Calculate total cost. Include minimum seats, plan tiers, add-ons, required CRM licenses, and billing frequency. A per-user headline price alone does not establish the cost of deploying the workflow.
Use a demo scenario that includes a route, a visit, a CRM update, and lost connectivity. That makes it easier to compare real work rather than product-page feature labels.

Published prices and plan features can change. The SalesRabbit figures and Badger Maps starting figure above come from third-party comparisons, not binding quotes; SPOTIO’s reported minimum and custom pricing should also be confirmed. SPOTIO’s 2026 sales-mapping article says “nearly a quarter” of field sales teams still manage territories with spreadsheets or paper maps, attributing the figure to its 2026 State of Field Sales research. The underlying report was not independently reviewed, so treat the statistic as SPOTIO’s claim rather than an independently verified market estimate.
