Short answer: Keep Ten Shadows if your goal is broad, long-term PvE progression and you can access its summon and Part 2 route. For raid-only damage, Beast Amber is the strongest current community pick. Awakened Star Rage is the most practical farming choice, while Awakened Blood Manipulation is a dependable boss alternative. Limitless and Shrine remain high-priority investments, but their value depends more on build synergy, cast times and the current balance patch.
These are October 2026 community recommendations, not permanent rankings. An August 2026 patch review reports CT Buffs attention for Shrine, Limitless and all Special Grade techniques without publishing a universal winner or a complete multiplier list. Test a technique you already own before spending resources to reroll.
Current recommendations at a glance
The right cursed technique (CT) depends on the activity. A raid build wants sustained single-target damage and short animations; a quest build values range and area coverage; a long-term account also has to consider progression depth and how much clan or accessory support the technique needs.

| Long-term PvE progression | Ten Shadows | Limitless; Shrine | Its summons, mastery work, Part 2 route and connected-raid goals provide progression beyond one burst rotation. | It demands more setup and mastery, and its value depends on your access to the associated progression content. |
| General endgame PvE | Limitless | Ten Shadows; Awakened Blood Manipulation | It has a strong endgame reputation and high damage potential, with compatible clan effects able to increase its value. | Build synergy matters, and current buffs mean older tier assumptions need to be retested. |
| Mob farming and quests | Awakened Star Rage | Shrine; Disaster Flames; Ten Shadows | Range and area damage help clear groups without waiting for enemies to stack tightly. | No standardized clear-time benchmark has been published. |
| Bosses and raids | Beast Amber | Awakened Blood Manipulation; Shrine; Disaster Tides | Recent raid-focused guidance favors its burst output and fast clears; animation speed helps preserve damage uptime. | It is a community ranking that can move with balance changes. |
| Early or budget bossing | Ratio | Explosive Flesh | Both are described as lower-cost options that can get an early account through bosses. | They are not positioned as the strongest late-game investments. |
What actually determines a “best” CT
A tier label compresses several different questions. Use the following tests instead of assuming that the highest letter grade will clear every activity fastest.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Single-target damage and burst windows
Raid bosses spend part of a fight exposed and part of it protected by mechanics. A technique that concentrates damage during the exposed window can outperform a kit with a higher theoretical total but a long setup. Record whether your strongest attack can be used before the boss moves, becomes invulnerable or forces the party to reposition.
Area coverage
Quest enemies usually arrive in groups. Wide attacks, reliable range and the ability to hit several targets at once reduce travel and cleanup time. This is why Awakened Star Rage is repeatedly recommended for farming even though another CT may be preferred for a single boss.
Cooldowns and animation time
Real damage per second includes the time a skill is unavailable and the time its animation prevents you from acting. The October 12, 2026 raid guide specifically warns players to consider the “kaching,” or cast time, of each skill: fast animations generally perform better in speed-running raids. A large attack that roots you in place can lose its advantage when a boss requires movement.
Mobility and survivability
Damage that cannot be delivered is lost damage. Movement tools, safe ranges and the ability to resume attacking quickly matter when a boss punishes standing still. Compare how often you can continue dealing damage while dodging rather than judging a kit only from its largest number.
Progression depth
Some techniques offer a longer account journey. Ten Shadows has summon, mastery, Part 2 and connected-raid goals, so it can remain useful as your objectives change. That depth is valuable if you want one project to build over time, but it also means a larger investment than a technique chosen only for immediate farming.
Clan and accessory dependence
Technique rankings are not independent of the rest of the character. The October 12 general tier list emphasizes clan and accessory synergy, particularly for Limitless, Shrine, Ten Shadows and awakened techniques. A technically lower-ranked CT with matching bonuses can be the stronger choice on your account. Check your available bonuses before rerolling a technique that already performs well.
Ten Shadows: the safest long-term PvE project
Ten Shadows is the strongest broad recommendation when “best” means an account that can progress through varied PvE content over a long period. The August 2026 patch-aware review places it in a keep-and-test pool alongside Shrine and Limitless, and both the general tier list and player discussion continue to treat it as a top general-purpose option.

Why its progression matters
Its summons create a progression path rather than a single damage check. The associated mastery, Part 2 content and connected-raid goals give you reasons to keep improving the CT after the initial unlock. That makes it a better fit for players who enjoy developing one account than for someone who only wants the fastest possible first raid clear.
Where it fits best
- Use it as a general PvE main when you switch between quests, progression objectives and raids.
- Choose it when you can access its summon and Part 2 progression rather than leaving those advantages unused.
- Consider it for farming when you value a kit that can continue to scale with mastery instead of a narrowly focused clear tool.
Trade-offs
The additional progression work is also the cost. Ten Shadows requires more setup and mastery than a simple burst choice, and the evidence does not establish a universal clear-time lead over every alternative. If your only goal is immediate raid damage, compare it directly with Beast Amber and Awakened Blood Manipulation before committing resources.
Limitless: high-end general PvE with build requirements
Limitless is a high-priority endgame choice and appears in the August keep-and-test pool and the October S-tier community list. Its appeal is high damage potential combined with a reputation for endgame performance, making it a logical alternative to Ten Shadows for players who already have compatible clan effects or accessories.
When to keep it
Keep Limitless when your existing character setup supports it and you are prepared to retest after the current patch changes. A matching bonus can change the practical value of the CT enough that a generic tier list should not override your own account context.

- Measure whether your main damage sequence finishes before the boss forces movement.
- Check how much of the kit remains usable while repositioning.
- Compare its cooldown rhythm with the actual length of raid damage windows.
- Test it in your normal quest route rather than judging it only in a stationary target situation.
Limitless is therefore a strong general investment, not a guarantee of the fastest raid clear or the easiest farming route for every player.
Best CTs for farming quests and groups
Awakened Star Rage
Awakened Star Rage is the clearest farming recommendation in the available community evidence. Its range and area coverage are the relevant advantages: they let you damage groups without spending as much time walking between targets or waiting for a perfect stack.
Use it when your routine consists mainly of quest loops, open groups or any activity where travel and target acquisition consume more time than a single boss phase. The evidence does not provide a controlled clear-time number, so treat it as a practical role recommendation rather than a measured speed record.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.

Shrine
Shrine is an unusually versatile farming-and-boss option. The raid guide describes it as a complete all-rounder because it combines area quest clearing with a large Fuga boss tool. That combination can reduce the need to maintain separate farming and raid CTs.
The cost is execution risk: long stationary casts can become liabilities when a raid requires movement. Player discussion also reports that Shrine benefits substantially from Sukuna’s Mark, so evaluate it with the setup you actually own rather than with an isolated tier-list label.
Disaster Flames
Disaster Flames appears as a farming alternative in the activity comparison. It is worth considering when your priority is clearing groups and you do not have Awakened Star Rage, Shrine or a developed Ten Shadows route. The available evidence does not establish a precise ranking among those three farming alternatives, so use your own completion times and survivability to choose.
Ten Shadows for mixed farming
Ten Shadows can cover farming while also advancing its summon and mastery objectives. It is a sensible compromise for an account that wants one long-term project rather than a dedicated farming reroll, although a specialized ranged AoE kit may finish simple group quests with less setup.
Best CTs for bosses and raids
Beast Amber: strongest current raid-DPS pick
The October 12, 2026 raid guide names Beast Amber as the current meta-dominant choice for pure damage and fast raid clears. Its recommendation is based on burst output, cooldown behavior and animation speed—factors that determine how much damage you deliver during real raid uptime.
Recommended Free Tools
The same guide reports a “20% passive damage buff” for Beast Amber’s Awaken skill. That figure is a community-guide claim, not an independently verified developer statistic, so use it as a reason to test the skill rather than as a guaranteed universal multiplier.
How to play around its advantage
- Use the kit during exposed boss phases instead of spending the entire sequence while the target is invulnerable.
- Track whether an animation locks you in place; a fast-looking rotation can still lose uptime if it forces a late dodge.
- Compare the cooldown cycle with the raid’s phase length so burst is available when the boss can actually be damaged.
Beast Amber is the best answer for a player who defines “best” as maximum raid damage, but the ranking is community evidence and may change after a balance update.

Awakened Blood Manipulation: dependable boss alternative
Awakened Blood Manipulation is S-tier on the October general list and is repeatedly recommended for raids and bosses. Player discussion gives it a clear role split from Awakened Star Rage: use the former for raids and the latter for farming.
Choose it when you want a boss-focused CT but do not have Beast Amber, or when its clan and accessory compatibility is better on your account. Compare the full rotation’s movement requirements and cooldown gaps rather than assuming that the S-tier label alone decides the result.
Shrine: hybrid raid and quest option
Shrine’s Fuga tool gives it a meaningful boss option while its area attacks support quests. Its weakness in raids is situational: stationary casts can be interrupted or waste time when mechanics demand movement. It becomes more attractive when you have Sukuna’s Mark or other compatible support and can reliably find safe cast windows.
Disaster Tides
Disaster Tides is listed directly behind Beast Amber, Shrine and Blood Manipulation in the raid-focused alternatives. It belongs in the comparison when you already own it or when its execution suits your play style. The available material does not publish a universal damage multiplier or a standardized clear time, so validate it in the same raid conditions you use for other candidates.
Ratio and Explosive Flesh for early accounts
Ratio and Explosive Flesh are described as lower-cost bossing choices. They can be useful while an account is still assembling a late-game build, but they are not presented as the strongest long-term investments. Treat them as bridges to a stronger CT rather than reroll targets for an established endgame account.
How clan and accessory bonuses change the answer
A technique is not evaluated in a vacuum. The October 12 general tier list specifically calls out clan and accessory synergy, and this is most important for Limitless, Shrine, Ten Shadows and awakened techniques.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- List your actual bonuses. Write down the clan effects and accessories you can equip now, not items you might obtain later.
- Group compatible CTs. Put Limitless, Shrine, Ten Shadows and the awakened options beside any bonuses that directly improve their intended role.
- Test the complete build. A CT that looks weaker without synergy may produce more usable damage, safer casts or shorter downtime once your bonuses are active.
- Compare the same activity. Do not compare a farming run with one build against a raid run with another; use the same quest route or raid phase.
Community discussion specifically says Shrine is much better with Sukuna’s Mark. That is a player observation, not controlled testing, but it illustrates why your account’s support pieces can change the practical order.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.

A retest protocol for the unstable 2026 patch
The August 2026 review says Shrine, Limitless and all Special Grade techniques received CT Buffs attention, but it does not publish a complete list of changed values. Because of that, old tier lists can be stale even when the technique names look familiar.
- Lock the conditions. Use the same character level, clan, accessories, quest or raid and party conditions for every trial.
- Run a farming trial. Complete the same group-focused route several times and record completion time, missed attacks and how often you must stop to recover.
- Run a boss trial. Test one full damage window against the same boss, noting damage delivered before movement or invulnerability interrupts the sequence.
- Record cast and recovery time. Include the time spent in long animations, not just the number displayed by the attack.
- Check cooldown alignment. Note whether your strongest attack is ready when the boss becomes vulnerable again.
- Repeat after a patch. A balance change can alter the result without changing your preferred play style, so retest before rerolling a CT you already own.
This process produces an account-specific answer without pretending that the community rankings are laboratory measurements.
Choosing without rerolling unnecessarily
Keep Ten Shadows when
- You want one CT for varied PvE and long-term progression.
- You can access its summons, mastery work and Part 2 route.
- You are willing to invest time instead of demanding an immediate raid record.
Keep Limitless when
- Your clan or accessories support it.
- You want a high-end general PvE option and can safely execute its damage windows.
- Your retest confirms that its cooldowns and movement requirements fit your raids.
Keep Awakened Star Rage when
- Most of your play time is farming quests or groups.
- Range and area coverage save more time than extra single-target burst would.
Keep Awakened Blood Manipulation when
- Bosses and raids are your primary activity.
- Its full rotation remains usable during movement-heavy mechanics.
Keep Beast Amber when
- You measure success by raid damage and fast clears.
- Your test confirms that its burst and animation cycle deliver damage during real vulnerability windows.
Keep Shrine when
- You want one CT that can farm and boss.
- You have suitable support such as Sukuna’s Mark and can find safe windows for its longer casts.
Common decision mistakes
Using a farming tier list for raids
Area coverage can make a CT excellent for quests without making it the best boss choice. Separate your farming test from your raid test.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Ignoring animation downtime
A large attack is not automatically efficient if the boss moves during its cast. Include movement and interruption in your comparison.
Copying an old patch ranking
The 2026 balance environment is unsettled, and the August review does not provide exact post-buff values. Retest a CT you already have before paying the opportunity cost of a reroll.
Overlooking account synergy
Clan and accessory effects can change the practical order, especially for Limitless, Shrine, Ten Shadows and awakened techniques. Compare complete builds, not names on a list.
Treating anecdotal evidence as a benchmark
The Reddit role split is useful for identifying common player experience, but it is not controlled testing. Use it to choose what to trial, then make the final decision from your own runs.
What the current evidence can and cannot establish
The October 12, 2026 raid guide provides the clearest activity-specific recommendation: Beast Amber for pure raid damage, followed by Shrine, Disaster Tides and Blood Manipulation. The same guide explains why cast time matters. The October general list places Limitless, Ten Shadows, Awakened Blood Manipulation and Awakened Star Rage in S tier, with Shrine, Judgeman, Beast Amber and Copy in A tier. The August patch-aware review narrows the safest investment pool to Shrine, Ten Shadows and Limitless.
Those sources agree on roles but do not supply an authoritative developer damage table, standardized clear-time test or complete post-patch multiplier list. The sensible conclusion is role-based: Ten Shadows for durable progression, Beast Amber for raid DPS, Awakened Star Rage for farming, Awakened Blood Manipulation for bosses, and Limitless or Shrine when your build and execution support them.
