Best provisional picks: plant Asparagus and Wheat in spring; Corn, Blue Herb and Rice in summer; Goldsilver Corn, Sparta, Lava Asparagus and Ancient Wheat in fall; and White Asparagus, Sweet Corn, Snow Wheat and Crystal Corn in winter. Keep at least one cow, one chicken and one sheep or lamb for dependable milk, eggs and wool throughout the year.
These recommendations are based on the currently available community crop table, not an official Natsume profitability ranking. Natsume has confirmed farming, livestock, seasonal progression and several crop examples, but it has not published a complete seed-price, growth-time or daily-profit table. Treat the listed shipping values as provisional until the launch build or an accessible in-game table confirms them.
What is confirmed about farming in Echoes of Teradea
Natsume’s March 11, 2026 announcement describes a game in which players tend a farm, raise animals and harvest crops while the seasons advance. The announcement names Bloomfield, Tidewind, Quarrytop and Maplehill as the principal villages and lists Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam as platforms.
Official material shows radish, red onion, corn, grass and pineapple as crops or seed sources. Seeds can come from village shops, harvest wisps, the farm sprite and remote islands. That variety matters: a shop is not necessarily your only source for a crop, and exploration may unlock planting options that are unavailable on day one.

The currently available crop guide says seeds can be planted in any season, although each crop has one or two preferred seasons. Planting outside a preferred season may still be possible, but the guide associates preferred seasons with better crop quality. Regional soil can also produce mutations, so the best crop on one plot may not be the best crop on another.
The community table used for the recommendations below reports crops maturing in roughly three to six days. Some crops regrow after their first harvest. Those details, like the prices, are not an official Natsume economic schedule; use them as planning figures rather than guarantees.
How to choose crops by season
Use four checks before spending your seed money:
- Preferred season: Start with the crop’s listed best season to pursue quality and reduce the chance of an inefficient planting.
- Time to harvest: A three-day crop can turn cash around quickly, while a six-day crop may be worthwhile only when the season has enough days remaining.
- Regrowth: A crop that produces again after harvesting can outperform a higher-priced one that must be replanted, but the number of regrowth cycles has not been officially documented.
- Use beyond shipping: Keep crops needed for quests, mutations or future requests instead of selling every harvest immediately.
Shipping is reported to pay 10% more than selling the same crop through a shop. The figures in the seasonal sections are therefore best read as guide shipping values in G, not guaranteed profit: they do not include seed cost, fertilizer or feed, labor, failed harvests, or the value of a crop kept for a request.

Spring crops
Asparagus — the strongest provisional spring shipper
The community table lists Asparagus at 143G when shipped and identifies spring as a preferred season. It is the first spring crop to consider when you want a relatively high-value harvest without waiting for a late-season specialty. Plant it early enough to leave room for a second cycle if the in-game growth timer confirms that it matures near the short end of the reported three-to-six-day range.
Do not treat 143G as net income. Confirm the seed price in your current village shop, then reserve a portion of the first harvest for requests before shipping the rest. If a regional plot produces an Asparagus mutation, record its actual quality and sale value rather than assuming the base figure applies.
Wheat — the flexible, lower-value spring option
Wheat is listed at 33G shipped, substantially below Asparagus, but its lower value can be useful when you need a dependable filler crop or want to spread risk across many plots. Wheat is also part of a family of seasonal variants: Ancient Wheat appears in fall and Snow Wheat in winter. Keeping notes on where each form grows can help you test regional soil without committing your whole farm to one experiment.

Choose Wheat when seed access, short turnaround or quest stock matters more than the highest listed sale value. A field of Wheat can also preserve cash for livestock feed and barn upgrades while your higher-value spring plots mature.

Spring planting plan
- Buy or obtain a small batch of Asparagus and Wheat rather than filling every tile with one crop.
- Plant Asparagus on the best available spring soil and leave a separate patch for a mutation test if you have access to a different region.
- Use Wheat in spare spaces or on plots where you are still learning soil behavior.
- Harvest and ship only the surplus after setting aside quest and cooking supplies.
Summer crops
Corn — the balanced summer backbone
The provisional table gives Corn a 176G shipping value and lists summer as a preferred season. Corn is also one of the crops shown in official material, so it is a sensible early target once summer seed access opens. Its combination of recognizable seed access and a mid-to-high listed value makes it a practical backbone for a summer field.
Because some crops reportedly regrow, check whether Corn remains productive after the first harvest in your build. If it does, avoid clearing the plant automatically; the value of another harvest may exceed the benefit of replanting a different seed.
Blue Herb — the highest listed summer value
Blue Herb is listed at 330G shipped, the highest provisional summer figure in the table. That makes it attractive for a dedicated cash plot, but it is not proof of the best profit per day. You still need the seed price, exact growth time and any regrowth behavior to calculate return on investment.
Use Blue Herb as a measured test: plant enough to compare its actual harvest timing and quality with Corn, but not so much that a disappointing seed cost leaves you without money for feed or required quest items.
Rice — a middle-ground summer crop
Rice is listed at 121G shipped. It sits below Corn and Blue Herb in the provisional price list, yet may be useful when its seeds are easier to obtain or when a quest specifically asks for it. Keep a small reserve if your village requests vary, then ship the remainder after confirming the current season’s demand.

Summer planting plan
- Put Blue Herb on a limited test plot if you can afford its seed cost.
- Use Corn for the main field, especially where you want to test regrowth.
- Plant Rice when its seed source or quest utility gives it an advantage over another crop.
- Track planting date, first harvest date, regrowth and actual shipping receipt in a simple note; those four observations are more reliable for your save than an unverified ranking.
Fall crops
Lava Asparagus — the highest provisional fall value
Lava Asparagus is listed at 407G shipped, the highest number in the seasonal table. Its apparent value makes it a natural fall trial, but the same caveat applies: without an official seed price and growth schedule, 407G cannot establish the best daily profit. Test one or two plots first, especially if the seed comes from a remote island or another limited source.
Sparta — a strong high-value alternative
Sparta is listed at 297G shipped. It gives you a second high-value fall option and can reduce dependence on a single seed source. Compare its actual maturation date with Lava Asparagus; a slightly lower sale value may be preferable if Sparta matures sooner or regrows more reliably.
Goldsilver Corn — a higher-value Corn variant
Goldsilver Corn is listed at 198G shipped. Players already growing Corn in summer can use fall to test whether the variant’s soil or seed requirements are more demanding. Keep notes on the region that produced it, because mutation and quality appear to depend partly on local soil.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Ancient Wheat — a fall variant for continuity
Ancient Wheat is listed at 143G shipped. It is a useful continuation crop when you want Wheat-related planting across seasons or need a lower-risk option while saving money for livestock. Its listed value matches spring Asparagus, but the two cannot be ranked by profit without verified seed and timing data.
Fall planting plan
- Reserve a test strip for Lava Asparagus and Sparta instead of committing the entire field.
- Use Goldsilver Corn where you have confirmed the appropriate soil or mutation conditions.
- Fill remaining plots with Ancient Wheat or another crop whose seeds you can replace easily.
- Before winter, retain any fall produce requested by active quests; shipping a rare mutation and then having to find it again can cost more than the original sale.
Winter crops
Crystal Corn — the highest listed winter value
Crystal Corn is listed at 253G shipped. It is the leading provisional winter value and a good candidate for a small high-value plot. Verify whether the seed is obtained from a shop, a harvest wisp, the farm sprite or a remote island before planning a full field, because limited access can make a theoretical value impractical.
White Asparagus — a dependable winter specialty
White Asparagus is listed at 187G shipped. It gives Asparagus growers a winter option and can help maintain a familiar planting routine when the season changes. Compare its actual growth and quality with Crystal Corn rather than assuming the lower listed value means lower daily income.

Sweet Corn — a familiar mid-value choice
Sweet Corn is listed at 176G shipped. It is close to the provisional value of summer Corn, so it can serve as a straightforward winter crop if its seeds are readily available. Keep some for requests before shipping your surplus.
Snow Wheat — the low-cost continuity option
Snow Wheat is listed at 88G shipped. Its value is lower than the other winter recommendations, but it may be appropriate when you need a simpler crop, have limited capital or want to preserve funds for feed and animal care. A lower-value crop can still be sensible if its seed cost and harvest time are favorable.
Winter planting plan
- Test Crystal Corn on your best winter soil.
- Use White Asparagus or Sweet Corn for the main field when their seed sources are more dependable.
- Plant Snow Wheat in spare plots or when cash conservation matters more than headline shipping value.
- Keep enough winter produce for quests and any discovered recipe before shipping the remainder.

“Guide shipping value” is not a confirmed profit rate. The accessible crop information explicitly says Natsume has not published a seed-price list, growth-day table or per-day profit figure. The community table’s page was not directly accessible when checked, so use the values to choose experiments, not to make irreversible investments.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Livestock that earn value all year
Livestock do not follow the crop-season list. The livestock guide identifies cows for milk, chickens for eggs, sheep and lambs for wool, and horses primarily as mounts. That makes animals a year-round source of products and a useful counterbalance when a seasonal field is between harvests.
Cows: milk and steady quest coverage
A cow is the most useful first large animal if you want a regular milk supply. Milk can be held for requests or sold when you have a surplus. Keep at least one cow when space allows, but do not fill the barn with cows before you know how much feed and attention your farm can sustain.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesChickens: eggs with a smaller commitment
Chickens provide eggs and are a practical way to diversify without relying entirely on large-animal capacity. Eggs broaden the products available for quests and give you a daily output distinct from milk and wool. Start with one chicken, then add more only after confirming your feed routine.

Sheep and lambs: wool and request flexibility
Sheep and lambs provide wool. Wool is different enough from milk and eggs that one animal can prevent a quest from forcing an emergency purchase or a long search. Keep at least one sheep or lamb if barn space permits, especially once your village begins issuing varied delivery requests.
Horses: mobility rather than farm income
Horses are primarily mounts in the livestock guide, not a dependable product-producing investment. Choose one for travel convenience when you value faster movement, but count its barn space and care against your income-producing animals.
A practical mixed-barn setup
The safest general-purpose starting mix is one cow, one chicken and one sheep or lamb. It covers milk, eggs and wool, the three outputs most likely to differ in quest requirements. Expand the species that matches your actual requests rather than buying a single animal type solely because its product sells well.

Feeding, hearts and product quality
The livestock guide recommends feeding and petting animals every day to raise their hearts. Higher hearts are associated with better produce in that guide. Treat this as a care strategy, not a guaranteed price multiplier: the exact heart thresholds and quality formulas have not been published.
- Put daily feeding on the same routine as watering crops so it is less likely to be missed.
- Use grass or forage as the low-cost feed foundation when your farm has access to it.
- Check whether animals are eating the intended feed before assuming a cost saving.
- Pet animals consistently instead of trying to recover from long gaps in care.
- Store a working supply of milk, eggs and wool for quests, then sell only the excess.
Grass is also shown among the official crop examples. Growing or gathering it may reduce purchased-feed demand according to the guide, but verify that behavior in the launch build before dedicating valuable crop space to a feed plan.
Combining crops and animals without wasting space
Protect crop beds from animals. A mixed farm works only when livestock cannot trample or consume the plants you are counting on for a quest or a shipment. Place the barn and grazing area where they do not overlap the highest-value plots, and keep a small reserve field for grass or forage if purchased feed is expensive in your save.
- Early season: Plant a preferred-season crop first, then complete animal feeding and petting before expanding the field.
- Mid-season: Record the first harvest date and check for regrowth before removing plants.
- Before shipping: Review active requests and keep at least one unit of every animal product and rare crop that a quest may require.
- End of season: Avoid planting a six-day crop if the remaining days cannot support its harvest; use the time for a shorter crop, feed grass or animal care.
How to verify profits in your own save
Until an official table exists, the most reliable ranking is the one you measure in the game. Use a small controlled test rather than risking the whole farm.
Recommended Free Tools
- Write down the seed source and purchase price for one crop.
- Plant on the same type of soil and record the in-game day.
- Note the first harvest day, quality, shipping receipt and whether the plant remains for another harvest.
- Subtract seed cost from the total shipping receipts, then divide by the days and occupied tiles you used.
- Repeat the test in another region if you are investigating a mutation or soil effect.
This method distinguishes a high single-item price from a genuinely efficient crop. It also exposes differences caused by quality, mutations, regrowth and regional soil that a simple list cannot show.
Bottom line for a first farm
Start spring with a split field of Asparagus and Wheat, use Corn as the dependable summer base while testing Blue Herb, reserve a fall plot for Lava Asparagus or Sparta, and test Crystal Corn in winter. Keep one cow, one chicken and one sheep or lamb, care for them daily, and maintain grass or forage where practical. Because official seed costs, growth times and daily profits remain unpublished, adjust the mix using your own harvest records rather than treating any current price list as final.
