For a YouTube radio playlist you have already cleared for live broadcast, a cloud service can keep uploaded tracks playing without leaving a home computer on. StreamNeo is the first option to consider for that workflow: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Cloud looping solves continuity—not music licensing or YouTube Content ID interruptions.
What a cloud service can—and cannot—do
A cloud encoder runs the playlist and sends the broadcast to YouTube remotely, so your local computer and home upload connection do not have to remain in the streaming path. That is useful for a continuous radio-style channel, but it does not grant permission to broadcast songs. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the creator to hold the necessary rights for the live content worldwide, including music licensing rights from artists, labels, publishers and other royalty participants: YouTube livestream terms.
A license also does not guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it or terminate it if identified content remains. For music you have licensed, YouTube says to ask the owner to add your channel to their Content ID allowlist: YouTube copyright guidance for live streams.
Best cloud service to try first
1. StreamNeo — best fit for cloud looping on YouTube
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos or a playlist. Upload your media, add your YouTube stream key, and go live; StreamNeo loops the media from the cloud, so no computer, OBS or home connection has to stay on. Automatic recovery is included if YouTube drops the stream. The service is for uploaded video playback to YouTube, not a live camera feed, and it does not clear music rights.

2. LiveGoLive — a relevant example, but check access first
LiveGoLive’s product page describes a cloud encoder that turns uploaded video, images and audio into a continuous YouTube broadcast. The vendor says it can prepare incompatible media at upload, monitor and reconnect after transient network interruptions, and broadcast continuously or on a schedule. Its described setup is to connect a YouTube account or paste a YouTube Studio stream key, then upload media. The Google connection is marked Beta, and the page presents a waitlist, so verify current access and capabilities before relying on it. These are vendor statements, not independently verified performance findings: LiveGoLive for YouTube.
LiveGoLive says connected mode can rotate completed broadcasts for manageable archives; with manual stream-key mode, broadcast and archive settings remain with the creator in YouTube Studio. The available evidence does not establish its pricing, general availability, uptime or comparative performance, so there is no defensible head-to-head ranking beyond naming it as a relevant example.

Clear the music before you schedule a loop
“Licensed” needs to mean authorized for the actual use, not simply music you can listen to personally or access through a consumer subscription. The required rights depend on the tracks, territories, agreements and whether the stream is archived. YouTube’s live terms specifically put responsibility for relevant territorial licensing and regulatory requirements on the creator.
- Confirm live-broadcast permission. Check that your agreements cover public livestreaming of each recording in the territories where the stream will be available, including the relevant rights from artists, labels, publishers and other royalty participants.
- Check archive and replay rights. If YouTube will retain an archive or viewers can watch a replay, confirm that your permissions cover that use too. A license for one use does not necessarily cover another.
- Coordinate Content ID allowlisting. Ask the applicable rightsholder, label or distributor to allowlist your YouTube channel for the licensed tracks. YouTube for Artists advises: “If you’re planning on using copyright-protected music during your live stream, we recommend coordinating with your label or distributor to avoid any issues, such as copyright strikes.” See YouTube for Artists’ live-stream guidance.
- Keep records and a response plan. Retain written permissions and allowlisting confirmations, and know whom to contact if a track is matched or the stream is interrupted. A cloud provider cannot resolve a rights dispute on your behalf.
The U.S. Copyright Office’s explanation of the Music Modernization Act’s blanket mechanical-license framework is background about interactive streaming services, not proof that an individual creator’s YouTube Live broadcast is cleared: U.S. Copyright Office Music Modernization FAQ. For a particular repertoire or territory, do not infer clearance from that framework alone.

Set up a cloud loop without losing control of the broadcast
- Prepare a rights-cleared playlist. Organize only the tracks and recordings covered by the permissions you have confirmed. Decide whether you will retain a YouTube archive and make sure your rights checks include it.
- Choose a provider and access mode. Compare whether it accepts uploaded audio, video or both; supports continuous looping and scheduling; explains recovery behavior; and uses a stream key or account authorization. For a waitlist or beta flow, confirm access before planning a launch.
- Connect YouTube. Add the stream key from YouTube Studio when the service requires manual setup, or use its account connection flow if available and appropriate. Treat a stream key as a credential: do not publish or share it.
- Upload, configure and test. Add the playlist, select continuous playback or a schedule, and test privately or with a short planned broadcast before relying on the loop. Confirm the stream appears as expected in YouTube Studio and that the media and audio behave correctly.
- Plan for interruptions and archives. Check which service settings govern reconnects and whether it rotates broadcasts. Know which archive and broadcast controls remain yours in YouTube Studio, and confirm how you will respond to a Content ID match.
YouTube’s HLS ingestion guidance discusses delivery constraints such as a single encoded stream at the selected resolution, muxed audio and video, HTTPS, supported formats and codecs, and a persistent connection. Many cloud services handle these details behind the scenes; the HLS requirements are technical delivery guidance, not music clearance: YouTube HLS ingestion guidance.
