For prerecorded property footage you want to play continuously on YouTube Live, StreamNeo is the first service to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K at 60fps for one flat price per slot, and gives you the first day free. Gyre is another managed playlist option listed in YouTube’s encoder directory. AWS Elemental MediaLive is a more configurable cloud-encoding platform, but it takes more technical design to turn it into a looping playlist.
This comparison is for prerecorded listing tours, neighborhood footage, and similar video libraries—not a live camera feed. A camera-based broadcast has different production and encoding needs. The recommendations below are based on official platform and vendor descriptions, not comparative hands-on testing; verify current plan limits and billing before committing.
Which cloud service fits a property video playlist?
| Service | Best fit | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Property owners or marketing teams who want an uploaded-video playlist to stay live on YouTube without leaving a computer running | Cloud looping, playlists, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. See StreamNeo. |
| Gyre | Teams seeking a managed prerecorded-video playlist workflow | YouTube lists Gyre as a cloud tool for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. Gyre describes uploading clips, arranging a looping playlist, scheduling a stream, and running it in the cloud. Current limits and plans should be checked on its product page. |
| AWS Elemental MediaLive | Technical teams that need custom switching or a larger AWS media pipeline | YouTube lists MediaLive as a verified encoder. AWS describes live encoding, scheduled or dynamic input switching, and automated deployments that loop an MP4. It is a cloud-media building block, not a turnkey playlist product. |
| Self-managed cloud encoder | Operators who want control of the software and can maintain the system | A virtual machine running software such as OBS can be configured for a playlist, but the operator must handle storage, process supervision, updates, stream-key security, monitoring, and recovery. YouTube lists OBS as no-charge open-source software; compute, storage, bandwidth, and support are separate considerations. |
Why start with a managed playlist service?
The central job is not just encoding: it is keeping a playlist available, looping it, and reconnecting to YouTube when needed. A managed service puts those tasks in a purpose-built workflow. StreamNeo and Gyre are the direct fits in this comparison; Gyre is specifically named in YouTube’s encoder directory for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. That listing establishes its category fit, not an independent guarantee of uptime or performance.
Before choosing any managed service, confirm supported file formats and file-size limits, storage quota, concurrent-stream allowance, resolution and frame-rate support, playlist editing behavior during a broadcast, alerting and restart behavior, account permissions, cancellation terms, and the cost for the number of streams and duration you need.
When MediaLive or a self-managed setup makes sense
MediaLive is more appropriate when the stream is one part of a custom production or AWS infrastructure—for example, if the team needs controlled source switching or integration with other media services. It requires designing the workflow rather than simply uploading clips and selecting a loop. AWS charges for running resources, and inputs, outputs, codecs, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, storage, transfer, and related services can affect the bill. Use current AWS pricing tools to model the actual design; a published example that includes packaging and viewer delivery is not a like-for-like quote for sending a playlist to YouTube.
A self-managed virtual machine offers control, but shifts reliability work to the operator. Include engineering and maintenance time alongside compute, storage, and bandwidth when comparing its cost with a managed subscription.

What StreamNeo includes and what it costs
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload footage or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and start the stream; the cloud continues looping while your computer is off. Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, playlists and 24/7 looping, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and support from the StreamNeo team. Video streams as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding or quality tiers. The product is for YouTube and uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.
All plans include the same product; only the billing duration changes. The first day is free with no card, once per account. You can cancel any time. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.

Check YouTube eligibility, rights, and stream settings
Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time can take up to 24 hours. YouTube also requires compliance with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and may remove or restrict a stream. Check the current live-streaming eligibility rules before scheduling a launch.

Clear the footage and audio for use
Confirm that you have rights to the property footage, music, voiceover, logos, and any other included material. A listing tour may contain third-party music or identifiable people, and permission to show a property does not automatically establish rights to every element in the video. YouTube’s live rules apply to the full stream, including material repeated in a loop.
Choose stable encoder settings
For a conventional encoder workflow, use RTMPS where supported; YouTube says it encrypts data into and through Google’s servers. Its encoder settings guidance recommends testing with similar motion and audio to the planned stream, checking upload speed, and monitoring stream health. A mostly static property tour can still include fast pans, music, and voiceover, so test representative footage rather than a still frame.

| Format and output | YouTube recommendation cited |
|---|---|
| H.264, 1080p at 30 fps | 5 Mbps |
| H.264, 1080p at 60 fps | 6 Mbps minimum; 17 Mbps recommended |
| AV1 or H.265, 1080p at 30 fps | 10 Mbps recommended |
| AV1 or H.265, 1080p at 60 fps | 12 Mbps recommended |
These are YouTube platform recommendations, not a guarantee that a particular source file or connection will perform well. Match the output to what the footage and upload path can sustain. YouTube recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. Its RTMP/RTMPS settings support H.264, H.265, or AV1 video and AAC or MP3 audio; confirm that your encoder or service supports the combination you select.
Plan for the archive limit
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If a continuous broadcast runs beyond 12 hours, do not rely on YouTube to preserve one complete replay. Keep separate source recordings or use shorter planned segments if a full archive matters.
Understand broadcasts and streams
YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes a broadcast—the watchable video—from a stream—the feed sent by the encoder. The API guide describes a use case in which one live 24/7 broadcast continues while a second broadcast is temporarily created from the same stream. That distinction matters for a publisher with a specific need for an additional event video; one continuous property playlist does not require that extra arrangement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Launch checklist for an always-on property playlist
- Prepare the library. Assemble the property clips in the intended order, review audio and picture, and confirm usage rights for every element.
- Check channel eligibility. Verify the channel, confirm live streaming is enabled, and allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Choose the operating model. Select a managed cloud playlist service for simpler looping; use MediaLive or a self-managed cloud encoder only if you need their added control and can operate the workflow.
- Set up the YouTube destination. Create or select the live broadcast in YouTube Studio, obtain the stream key, and enter it only in the service or encoder you trust. Keep the key private and rotate it if it is exposed.
- Configure the output. Use RTMPS where supported; choose a supported codec, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, audio format, and a two-second keyframe interval. Avoid settings that exceed the source quality or available upload capacity.
- Run a preflight test. Test representative footage and audio, inspect YouTube’s stream health, verify that the playlist loops as expected, and check how the service behaves if the connection is interrupted.
- Monitor after launch. Confirm the public watch page, audio, image, and playlist order. Review alerts and recovery behavior rather than assuming a successful first connection guarantees an uninterrupted broadcast.
Common problems and practical fixes
- The stream will not start: Check live-streaming eligibility and activation status, confirm the correct stream key and destination, and verify that the chosen encoder settings are supported.
- The video buffers or stream health degrades: Check the actual upload path, lower bitrate or output demands if they exceed capacity, and test a representative clip. Prefer RTMPS when supported.
- Audio is missing or out of sync: Confirm the file has an audio track, check the selected AAC or MP3 output and sample compatibility, then test a full representative segment before launch.
- The playlist stops or does not loop: Review the playlist order and loop configuration, then ask the service provider whether edits can be made without interrupting a live broadcast.
- YouTube removes or restricts the stream: Review the notice and the applicable Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and rights for video and audio. A restart cannot resolve a content-policy or rights issue.
- The full replay is missing: Check whether the broadcast exceeded YouTube’s 12-hour automatic-archive condition; keep separate recordings or plan shorter segments if a complete archive is required.
