For recorded, rights-cleared bhajans that you want to loop continuously on YouTube, start with a managed cloud playout service. StreamNeo is the first option to consider if you want a simple YouTube-only loop with any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot and a free first day. Gyre is the closest match among the other reviewed services: YouTube lists it as a cloud tool for 24/7 streams of prerecorded videos. Castr is worth comparing for scheduling and broader distribution; AWS is for teams prepared to operate a custom media pipeline.

These are workflow-fit recommendations based on official documentation and vendor feature pages, not a hands-on or independently measured reliability ranking. They assume you already have recordings and the rights needed to stream them.

Best cloud services for a continuous bhajan stream

Option Best fit What to know
1. StreamNeo A YouTube channel that needs uploaded bhajans to loop continuously without leaving a computer on Cloud looping for YouTube, playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. The first day is free with no card. See StreamNeo.
2. Gyre A direct fit for cloud playout of prerecorded videos YouTube’s encoder guidance lists Gyre for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. Gyre describes uploading files, building a playlist, scheduling a continuous stream, and looping it in the cloud. Its homepage also names reaching a church community as a use case.
3. Castr Creators who want scheduled prerecorded playout and may need more than one destination Castr describes uploading a video, creating a playlist, scheduling or looping it, and sending it to YouTube or other destinations. Its feature limits depend on the plan.
4. AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaPackage, and CloudFront Teams that need a custom live-video pipeline and can manage cloud infrastructure AWS documents these as building blocks for encoding, packaging, and distributing live video. Its reference architecture includes two input feeds for redundancy, but it requires substantially more configuration and operations than a turnkey loop.

For Gyre, YouTube’s official encoder guidance is useful confirmation that it supports this category of workflow. Vendor-published feature descriptions are not independent proof of uptime or performance; no reliability winner is established here.

How to choose for a bhajan channel

Start with the source material

These services address different workflows. Gyre and Castr explicitly describe playout from prerecorded videos. The cited AWS architecture is a way to build a live video delivery pipeline, rather than a ready-made playlist looper. If you need to broadcast a live camera or musician, verify that the service supports that workflow; StreamNeo plays uploaded videos and does not go live from a camera.

Check the controls you will actually use

  • Playlist behavior: Confirm whether the service can loop the full playlist continuously, schedule start times, and handle changes to the playlist without disrupting the stream.
  • Storage and file limits: Compare available storage, maximum file duration, and playlist limits against the length and size of your bhajan library. Castr says these limits vary by plan; check its current plan details.
  • Stream count and destinations: Match the plan to the number of simultaneous channels you need and whether you need to send video beyond YouTube. Castr describes multi-destination delivery; StreamNeo streams to YouTube only.
  • Output quality: Check supported resolution and frame rate against your source files and channel needs. StreamNeo streams each upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding or quality tiers.
  • Recovery and support: Ask what happens if YouTube disconnects the broadcast or the playlist encounters an error. StreamNeo includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; the other reviewed sources do not establish a comparable independently measured recovery rate.

Balance simplicity against control

A managed playout service removes the need to keep your own computer running, while a custom AWS stack can offer more control over the delivery architecture. That control also means configuring and monitoring the components and estimating workload-specific cloud charges. Do not assume AWS is cheaper: a like-for-like cost comparison requires estimates for the actual configuration, runtime, and audience.

What the published prices do—and do not—tell you

StreamNeo uses one flat price per slot regardless of uploaded quality. The same features apply across its plans; only the billing period changes. The page displays the applicable currency by visitor location.

  • Daily: $0.99 per day
  • Weekly: $2.99 per week
  • Monthly: $9.99 per month
  • 6 months: $49.99 for 6 months
  • Yearly: $89.99 a year

Each StreamNeo slot includes one always-on YouTube stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops, and support from the StreamNeo team. Billing can be for a day, a week, a month, six months, or a year, and can be canceled any time. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.

Gyre’s vendor page snapshot accessed October 3, 2026 listed a 7-day free trial and monthly prices of $49 for Start, $99 for Start+, and $169 for PRO+. It also listed different stream counts, storage allowances, and output capabilities by tier. Treat those as vendor-published figures from that date, not guaranteed current quotes; check the live page and plan limits before purchasing. Castr’s cited feature page describes plan-dependent limits but does not establish a comparable price here. AWS charges depend on the architecture and workload, so obtain an estimate rather than comparing it to a single subscription figure.

Protect the channel and recordings before going live

YouTube scans all live streams for matches to third-party content. YouTube Help says: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If it detects a match, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator; if the content remains, it may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. See YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams.

A devotional song may involve separate rights in the composition, arrangement, performance, sound recording, and artwork. Confirm that your permissions cover the actual recordings, continuous live streaming, and any artwork used. YouTube also says a rights owner may need to add a channel to its Content ID allowlist even when the creator has a license. A cloud playout service cannot prevent a copyright interruption or supply rights to the material.

Check that the channel is eligible to live stream and review YouTube’s current live-stream rules before scheduling the broadcast. A 24/7 loop should not be treated as a substitute for rights clearance or compliance with YouTube’s channel and content policies.
