Invasion: an Earth-wide alien threat
Invasion suits viewers looking for survival on a broad scale. Apple describes the series as an ongoing fight to save Earth and humankind, rather than a mystery centered on one enclosed community.
Pluribus: a different post-apocalyptic premise
Consider Pluribus if you are open to a distinct speculative drama rather than seeking a close substitute for Silo. Apple classifies it as both drama and science fiction and indicates another season is coming.

What makes a show feel like Silo?
Apple describes Silo as a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances. Its series is based on Hugh Howey’s trilogy. Apple TV Press’s current series description says season three continues that underground society’s story while revealing an origin story set centuries earlier; the same press page lists season four for July 9, 2027. That premise gives viewers several different things to look for in a follow-up: a constrained setting, a mystery that unfolds gradually, social tension around power, or the question of how people survive under extraordinary conditions. TVLine’s recent recommendations also point to class conflict, conspiracies, dystopian worlds, and confined settings as useful lenses for finding shows with some of Silo’s appeal. Not every pick matches every part of the series. Severance comes closest on enclosure and institutional mystery; Foundation and Invasion are better fits if you want the stakes to expand far beyond one community. Apple’s catalog descriptions establish their broad genre and premise, but they do not make these series interchangeable.
