Short answer: The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is the closest premium Android alternative if you want a genuinely wider, more usable phone screen plus a tablet-sized display when opened. The DOOGEE Note59 Pro 5G is the better value choice for a conventional, non-folding phone with a large display and a high-capacity battery. Motorola’s Razr Fold is another current Android foldable worth considering, while Huawei’s Pura X is a useful design reference but not an Android replacement because it runs HarmonyOS.
The DOOGEE Note60 W itself was only newly announced at the 140th Canton Fair on October 18, 2026. Its headline specifications are promising, but chipset, memory, storage, cameras, panel technology, price and release date were still unconfirmed as of October 20, 2026.
What the DOOGEE Note60 W actually is
The Note60 W is a new DOOGEE model built around an unusually wide display shape rather than the tall, narrow proportions used by most current slab phones. IT之家 reported a 6.38-inch screen running at 90Hz, a body approximately 8.4mm thick, a 6,500mAh battery and Android 17 preinstalled. Those are announcement figures, not an independent test, and DOOGEE had not published the complete specification sheet when the phone was reported.
| Note60 W detail | Status as of October 20, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.38-inch, 90Hz wide-screen design reported by IT之家; panel type and resolution not stated |
| Thickness | Approximately 8.4mm, according to the announcement report |
| Battery | 6,500mAh claimed capacity; charging speed and battery-life results not stated |
| Operating system | Android 17 reported as preinstalled |
| Chipset, RAM and storage | Not announced |
| Cameras | Hardware not announced |
| Price and release date | Not announced |
Gizmochina separately noted that the chipset, RAM, storage, camera hardware, panel type, price and release date had not been confirmed. That means the Note60 W cannot yet be judged on speed, camera quality, app loading, charging, network compatibility or value. No independent battery, camera or performance testing was available at the time of writing.

Do not confuse it with the regular DOOGEE Note60
DOOGEE’s documented Note60 without the W suffix is a different, conventional phone. Its official specification page lists Android 16, a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz IPS waterdrop display at 720 × 1612 pixels, a 6,150mAh battery, 128GB UFS storage, a UNISOC T7225 processor, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. None of those details should be treated as specifications for the Note60 W.
Which phones are genuinely wider?
“Wide” can mean two different things. A wide slab phone changes the proportions of one fixed screen; it is simple, durable and usually cheaper, but it cannot provide a second, larger workspace. A foldable keeps a relatively usable outer screen and opens into a much broader display, at the cost of a hinge, greater thickness and a higher repair risk.
- Choose a wide slab if you want a normal one-piece phone, long battery endurance and lower purchase and repair costs.
- Choose a foldable if reading, multitasking, documents, maps or video benefit from a display that becomes substantially larger when opened.
- Choose a design reference rather than an Android phone only if you are comfortable checking app compatibility, Google-service availability and regional support yourself.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7: the strongest premium Android match
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the clearest answer for someone who means “a wider phone” as a cover screen that is less cramped than older narrow foldables, while still wanting a large display after opening the device. Samsung lists a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and an 8.0-inch main display. The outer screen is intended for ordinary phone tasks; unfolding provides a much larger canvas for two apps, long documents, spreadsheets, navigation and media.
Why it is the closest high-end alternative
- The 21:9 cover ratio is more familiar for typing, browsing and social apps than the very narrow outer screens used by some earlier foldables.
- The inner display gives you a genuinely larger work area rather than simply stretching a single slab phone.
- Samsung’s Android software, multitasking tools and long-term ecosystem support are more established than the software position of a newly announced DOOGEE model.
Trade-offs to evaluate
A Fold7 is not a direct value substitute for the Note60 W. Foldables cost more, are heavier and thicker than ordinary phones, and include a hinge and flexible inner panel that can be more expensive to repair. Dust, impact damage, screen-protector issues and warranty exclusions matter more than they do on a simple slab. Camera capability, water resistance, accessory pricing and service coverage also vary by region, so check Samsung’s local warranty terms before buying.
Samsung’s newsroom announcement establishes the display dimensions, but the cited material does not establish a battery capacity, charging speed or current retail price. Verify those details, stock and promotions in your country rather than relying on an old listing.

- A premium foldable smartphone featuring an 8.0" Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, 6.5" cover display, 200MP main camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, 4,400mAh battery, and a slim 215g design.
Motorola Razr Fold: an Android foldable with regional specification gaps
Motorola’s support documentation identifies the Razr Fold as running Android 16, making it a current Android foldable option rather than a HarmonyOS device. It belongs on the shortlist if you prefer Motorola’s software approach, camera interface or account ecosystem, or if local pricing makes it less expensive than Samsung.
What you can confirm
Android 16 is the confirmed operating-system detail in the available support material. The search result used for this comparison did not expose a complete display-size table, battery capacity, charging specification or universal price. Motorola sells different products and configurations by market, so the exact regional product page is essential before comparing dimensions or endurance with the Note60 W.

How to assess it in a shop
- Confirm the model name and model number for your country; “Razr Fold” listings can differ by carrier or region.
- Check the outer-screen ratio and keyboard width with the apps you use most.
- Look for the battery capacity, wired and wireless charging details, IP rating and included warranty in the local specification sheet.
- Open and close the hinge several times, inspect the inner crease and verify that your preferred apps support the unfolded layout.
DOOGEE Note59 Pro 5G: the practical large-screen slab
The Note59 Pro 5G is the sensible choice when your priority is a large display and long endurance without paying for a hinge. Its manual lists Android 15, a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity, a 6,250mAh battery, a 16MP main camera and microSD expansion up to 2TB.
Why it may be better value
- The one-piece design has fewer moving parts and should be easier to protect and repair than a foldable.
- The 6,250mAh battery figure is close to the announced Note60 W capacity, while the Note59 Pro’s manual at least identifies the camera, storage expansion and network generation.
- A 120Hz refresh rate can make scrolling feel smoother than a 90Hz panel, although refresh rate alone does not establish brightness, color quality or battery life.
- 5G and a microSD slot make it practical for users who need mobile data and a large local media library.
What you give up
The Note59 Pro’s screen is large but conventional; it does not reproduce the Note60 W’s wide aspect ratio or open into a tablet-like workspace. HD+ resolution on a 6.75-inch panel is also less detailed than many premium screens. Confirm the exact 5G bands, carrier support, warranty, charger and current retailer inventory for your country. The manual is not a substitute for an independent test of performance, cameras or battery life.
Huawei Pura X: useful design inspiration, not an Android alternative
Huawei’s Pura X helps explain the design language behind wide foldables. Huawei’s official pages describe a 3.5-inch external screen and HarmonyOS 5/6. Its outer display and unfolding format are relevant if you are comparing shapes and ergonomics, but calling it an Android replacement would be misleading.
Rank #3
- A premium foldable smartphone featuring an 8.0" Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, 6.5" cover display, 200MP main camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, 4,400mAh battery, and a slim 215g design.
Software constraints are decisive
HarmonyOS is not the same platform as Google-certified Android. Depending on the market, Google Play, banking applications, wearable integrations, maps and notifications may work differently or require substitutes. Huawei availability, warranty and network compatibility are also strongly regional, with China-focused distribution a significant consideration. Buy the Pura X only after checking the exact app and service requirements you cannot compromise on.

Do you need a foldable to get a wide phone screen?
No. A wide slab such as the announced Note60 W changes the shape of a single display and avoids hinge-related durability concerns. That is the right design when you mostly browse, message, stream and photograph on one screen and want battery capacity more than a second workspace.
A foldable is justified when the wider inner display changes what you can do: compare documents side by side, keep a chat beside a browser, edit a large spreadsheet, read a full page without constant zooming or use a large map while travelling. The benefit is experiential rather than a simple width number. Test the cover keyboard, hinge angle and app scaling before purchasing.
Battery, charging and endurance: what can and cannot be concluded
The Note60 W announcement gives a 6,500mAh capacity, and the Note59 Pro manual gives 6,250mAh. Those numbers describe capacity, not hours of use. Screen brightness, modem efficiency, processor, software tuning, temperature and charging limits determine real endurance, and no independent battery-life results were available for either phone in this comparison.
The Fold7 and Razr Fold need a different evaluation because foldable designs power multiple displays and hinge hardware. Do not infer their endurance from screen size alone. Confirm the battery capacity, wired charging wattage, wireless charging, charger-in-box policy and replacement-battery service for the exact regional model.

Performance, storage and cameras: avoid filling in the blanks
DOOGEE has not announced the Note60 W chipset, RAM, storage or camera hardware. It is therefore impossible to rank its speed, gaming ability, camera quality or storage value against the alternatives without speculation. The regular Note60’s UNISOC T7225, 128GB storage and 13MP/8MP cameras belong to that different model.
The Note59 Pro manual provides a 16MP main-camera figure and microSD support, but a megapixel count does not predict image quality. Samsung and Motorola may offer stronger processing and camera systems, yet the appropriate comparison depends on the regional model and current software. Look for full camera sensor lists, optical stabilization, storage type, RAM configuration and update commitments before paying a premium.
Durability, support and ownership checks
- Hinge and inner screen: Fold7 and Razr Fold owners must budget for careful handling, compatible screen protectors and potentially higher repair costs.
- Water and dust protection: Verify the certified rating for the exact model; do not assume that one foldable’s protection applies to another.
- Warranty geography: Imported DOOGEE or Huawei units may have limited local repair support, while carrier versions can have different service terms.
- Network bands: Check 4G and 5G bands against your operator, especially for the Note59 Pro and any imported Note60 W listing.
- Software access: Confirm Google Play certification, Android version, update policy and banking-app compatibility before choosing a non-mainstream regional model.
- Accessories: Wide or foldable phones may need specific cases, screen protectors and chargers that are not interchangeable with ordinary models.
Which alternative should you buy?
Choose the Galaxy Z Fold7 when
- You want the most complete premium Android foldable experience.
- A less-narrow outer screen and a large opened display matter more than low cost.
- You can accept foldable maintenance, weight and regional pricing.
Choose the Motorola Razr Fold when
- You prefer Motorola’s Android interface or local support.
- Your market offers a compelling price and the regional specification sheet meets your battery, camera and network needs.
- You are prepared to verify display dimensions and warranty details rather than relying on a global headline.
Choose the DOOGEE Note59 Pro 5G when
- You want a conventional phone with a large 120Hz screen, 5G and a 6,250mAh battery.
- You value microSD expansion and lower mechanical complexity.
- You do not need a wide aspect ratio or an unfolded workspace.
Wait for confirmed Note60 W details when
- The reported 6.38-inch wide shape and 6,500mAh capacity are exactly what you want.
- You can wait until DOOGEE publishes the processor, memory, storage, cameras, panel type, price, release date and network bands.
- You are willing to judge the finished product rather than pre-order from an incomplete listing.
Consider the Huawei Pura X only when
- You specifically want its wide foldable design and have verified HarmonyOS app compatibility.
- Google services are not essential, or you have a reliable regional workaround.
- You can obtain meaningful local warranty and repair support.
Buying checklist for any wide-screen phone
- Write down whether you need a wider single screen or a foldable inner workspace.
- Measure the phone in your hand and test one-handed typing on the cover or slab display.
- Confirm the exact operating system, Google certification and update policy.
- Compare battery capacity together with charging speed, charger inclusion and independent endurance tests.
- Check chipset, RAM, storage type, microSD support and 5G bands; do not infer them from the model name.
- Read the local warranty and repair terms, especially for imported devices and foldables.
- Verify the current price, stock and release status on the day you order. The Note60 W had no announced price or release date as of October 20, 2026.
Bottom line for Note60 W shoppers
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the best overall Android alternative if “wide” means a practical outer screen plus a much larger display when unfolded. The Note59 Pro 5G is the strongest straightforward value option for a large, durable slab phone with 5G and substantial battery capacity. Motorola’s Razr Fold deserves a regional price-and-specification check, while Huawei’s Pura X should be treated as a HarmonyOS design alternative rather than an Android phone.
The Note60 W may become the most interesting low-cost wide-screen slab once DOOGEE confirms its hardware and launch plan. Until then, its 6.38-inch 90Hz display, approximately 8.4mm body, 6,500mAh battery and Android 17 claim describe the concept, not a complete buying decision.
