Miranda is Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s rescue dog. She reportedly attended the house’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris on October 1, 2026, where guests stopped to pet her before she settled in to watch the models.
Who is Miranda?
Miranda is Piccioli’s rescue dog, according to Hindustan Times. The report says her name nods to Miranda Priestly, the character played by Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada films; it does not present that explanation as a direct quote from Piccioli.
What happened at Balenciaga’s show?
Hindustan Times reported on October 2, 2026, that Miranda attended Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Tennis Club de Paris the previous day, October 1. The account says guests stopped to pet her and that she watched the models once the show began. These event details are attributed to the report.
Miranda’s earlier fashion-week appearances
Miranda has appeared at fashion events before. Hindustan Times says she attended Versace’s Spring 2024 show and Piccioli’s Balenciaga couture debut in July 2026. British Vogue’s September 26, 2023 account also identified Miranda as Piccioli’s dog at the Versace show.
