What the free limits actually mean
Cloud screenshots: up to 100
The Free plan’s limit applies to screenshots stored in your Awesome Screenshot cloud account, not screenshots saved to your computer. The Help Center says Free users can store up to 100 screenshots in the cloud; deleting cloud screenshots frees space. Screenshots saved locally are unlimited across membership plans. Cloud recordings: up to 20 total
The Free plan allows up to 20 cloud recordings total, not 20 new recordings every month. Free and Basic users can delete downloaded cloud recordings to make room and continue recording. The Free-plan article
Recording length depends on where you save and what you do next
For Free and Basic users, a cloud recording can be up to six hours long, but a recording eligible for download and editing is limited to one hour. Local recordings have a separate five-minute-per-recording limit for unsigned-in users and Free or Basic members. The six-hour cloud allowance therefore does not mean that a Free or Basic user can download and edit a six-hour recording. See the official limit definitions
