Is the shell really carbon fiber?
Attack Shark describes the shell as carbon-fiber composite. That wording indicates a composite material incorporating carbon fiber; it does not establish that the entire exterior is made from solid carbon fiber. The product pages do not provide a material percentage, laminate construction or independent durability testing.
What does 8,000Hz polling mean?
Polling rate is how often the mouse reports its position to the computer. At 8,000Hz, the nominal interval is 0.125 milliseconds, compared with 1 millisecond at 1,000Hz. In practice, the benefit depends on the game, display refresh rate, computer workload and firmware implementation. Higher polling can increase USB, wireless-receiver and CPU activity, so it is a capability rather than a guarantee of better aim or lower real-world latency.

The notable claim here is that Attack Shark specifies 8,000Hz in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. Bluetooth 5.2 is also supported, but the published specification does not state that Bluetooth operates at 8,000Hz.

The 100-million-click figure is the manufacturer’s rating for its Omron optical switches. None of these figures is an independent laboratory result, and the available material contains no independent hands-on test, battery-life measurement, click-latency test or durability study.
