One of the most distinctive features of the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA in terms of design, is its ErgoLift-Hinge. The ErgoLift Hinge lifts the laptop at an angle when opened, thereby enabling a very comfortable typing position.
Moreover, its hinge lifts the laptop’s base which results in an increase in airflow and better sound output from the down-firing speakers. However, the hinge is not very sturdy so it tends to slip when the laptop is in use, especially during typing sessions.

ASUS offers three different configurations for the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA in terms of its processor. It comes with either an Intel Core i7-8565U, Intel Core i5-8265U, or an Intel Core i3-8145U processor.

These processors are all good when it comes to the laptop’s CPU power. You should be able to get a decent CPU performance with any of the above processors.
With the Core i5-8265U processor, the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA handled regular computing tasks like web browsing, word processing, and video editing smoothly. However, if you plan to do heavy video editing, I will recommend you go for the i7-8565U processor.
On the Geekbench 4 tests, the processor scored 4,129 in the Single-core test. Meanwhile, it scored 13, 903 in the Multi-core test.
Overall, it got an impressive score of 15,110, surpassing the 12,899 premium laptop average. Therefore, the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA scores an eight in this review for its impressive CPU performance.

ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA: Memory (RAM) Performance
ASUS equipped ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA is with 8 GB LPDDR3 onboard memory. The laptop has only 1 memory slot but can be upgraded to 16 GB.
If you primarily need this laptop to carry out your everyday computing tasks, its 8 GB RAM is enough. However, if you will require the laptop to carry out more demanding tasks, then you should consider the 16 GB.
Nevertheless, with its 8 GB of RAM, the laptop eased through 42 Google Chrome tabs and two 1080 YouTube videos without stuttering much.

ASUS offers two storage options for the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA. You either get the 1 TB PCIe 3.0 x 4 SSD or the 512 GB/256 GB PCIe 3.0 x 2 SSD.
Its Solid-state drive is a big boost for the laptop’s hardware. Applications open rapidly thanks to the laptop’s SSD storage. The Operating System also starts faster, compared to a normal HDD.

The laptop’s graphics card doesn’t offer an exceptional gaming experience. You cannot get enjoyable frame rates when you try to play graphically demanding games at a high setting.
To play modern games, you will have to reduce the settings to medium or the lowest in order to get playable frame rates. Ultimately, you will have to settle for casual or browser-based games.
To offer some examples, ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA played Far Cry 5 at 16 FPS. It also played Rise of the Tomb Raider at 22 FPS.
However, the laptop played less graphically demanding games like Dirt3 at an impressive rate of 59 FPS.

This is definitely one of the areas the ASUS ZenBook 13 UX333FA shines. Just as the laptop’s performance is impressive for a compact laptop, so is its battery life.
Diving into more battery performance specifics, the laptop lasted up to 8 hours 30 minutes under light workload with its screen at 50% display brightness. Under heavier load like video editing and gaming, the laptop lasted 4 hours.
