1. Identify the exact Astra service
Check the website or app listing, the account page, and the name shown at checkout. DataStax describes Astra Streaming as a managed event-streaming service built around Apache Pulsar (DataStax archived Astra setup guide). Google Play separately lists Astra Streaming Studio, an Android app for live video streaming published by MIV Dev and offering in-app purchases. The listing does not connect that app to DataStax.
Do not assume that a help page for Astra Security applies just because it also uses the Astra name. The available sources do not establish that Astra Security is the service involved in this card attempt.
2. Record the decline details
Before contacting anyone, note the exact checkout error, date and amount, whether the charge is a one-time purchase or renewal, and whether your bank requested authentication. These details help the service and your card issuer investigate the specific transaction. The available public information does not diagnose an individual decline.

3. Check payment options in the service account
Use the billing or account page for the exact service and see which payment methods appear in that account’s checkout. Options can differ by product, account, purchase type, and region; do not infer acceptance of a particular Indian debit card from another Astra product’s billing page.
DataStax’s Astra DB pricing page lists credit card, cloud marketplace, and direct contract or service credits as payment routes. That page concerns Astra DB; it does not confirm the options for every Astra Streaming account or explain a specific card rejection.

4. Contact the right support team
Contact the service
Use support linked from the confirmed product’s own website or app. Provide the recorded error and transaction details, and ask whether the attempted payment method is supported for that account and whether the charge was rejected by the service or its payment processor.
Contact your card issuer
Ask the bank whether it received the authorization request and whether it blocked or declined it. If checkout requested an authentication step, confirm with the bank whether it was completed successfully. Do not share your card PIN, one-time password, or full card details in an ordinary support message.

Why Astra Security payment advice may not apply
Astra Security’s help pages describe its own payment methods and failed-payment troubleshooting, including use of Paddle, and an India-specific automatic-payment limit of ₹5,000 per transaction. These are service-specific instructions, not a general Indian debit-card rule or an explanation for a DataStax or Astra Streaming Studio decline. Use them only if you have confirmed that the account is with Astra Security: payment methods, failed payments, and India automatic payments.
