Zie je in plaats daarvan een Live activiteit of mediabediening, dan moet je een andere instelling of situatie controleren: dat is geen vaste widget.
Controleer eerst wat er op je toegangsscherm staat
De juiste oplossing hangt af van het soort Apple TV-onderdeel dat je ziet:

Een vaste Apple TV-widget verwijderen
- Toon het toegangsscherm en houd het ingedrukt totdat de bewerkingsopties verschijnen.
- Tik op Pas aan.
- Kies het toegangsscherm dat je wilt wijzigen.
- Tik in de widgetzone op de Apple TV-widget. Tik vervolgens op de verwijderknop. Afhankelijk van de iOS-versie verschijnt die knop mogelijk pas nadat je de widget hebt geselecteerd.
- Tik op Gereed om de wijziging op te slaan.
Toegangsschermwidgets zijn beschikbaar vanaf iOS 16. De labels en precieze stappen kunnen in latere iOS-versies veranderen. Apple beschrijft widgets als verwijderbaar in de instructies voor widgets op de iPhone.
Als het een Live activiteit van de TV-app is
Een Live activiteit kan bijvoorbeeld lopende sportupdates van de Apple TV-app tonen. Controleer Instellingen > Apps > TV of Apple TV > Live activiteiten en schakel de optie uit als die op jouw iPhone wordt aangeboden. De naam van de app en de menu-indeling kunnen per iOS-versie verschillen. Zie je geen instelling voor Live activiteiten, dan kan het zijn dat de app die optie niet aanbiedt.

Als je mediabediening voor een Apple TV ziet
Het toegangsscherm kan bediening tonen voor media die op je iPhone of op een extern apparaat, zoals Apple TV 4K, wordt afgespeeld. Die bediening is gekoppeld aan lopende weergave en is geen widget die je uit de widgetzone verwijdert. Apples documentatie beschrijft de mediabediening vanaf het toegangsscherm, maar vermeldt geen aparte permanente schakelaar om uitsluitend bediening voor een externe Apple TV te verbergen: Toegang tot functies vanuit het toegangsscherm op de iPhone.
De Apple TV-app verwijderen is een verdergaande stap
Je kunt de ingebouwde Apple TV-app verwijderen op een iPhone met iOS 14 of nieuwer, maar dat is niet nodig om alleen een widget te verwijderen. Apple waarschuwt dat het verwijderen van ingebouwde apps bijbehorende gebruikersgegevens en configuratiebestanden kan verwijderen en verbonden functies kan beïnvloeden.
