Display: smaller iPhone or reportedly larger vivo screen?
Apple lists a 6.3-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz ProMotion. The vivo Community post describes the S2 5G as having a 6.83-inch, 1.5K, 120Hz curved AMOLED display. If that report is accurate for the model sold to you, the vivo offers more screen area, while the iPhone has the smaller listed display. The available evidence does not establish a like-for-like assessment of brightness, color accuracy, or viewing quality.

Battery and charging: reported capacity is not a runtime test
The vivo Community post reports a 7050mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge for the S2 5G. Apple describes improved battery life for the iPhone 18 Pro, but the cited technical-page information does not give a comparable capacity figure. Battery capacity and manufacturer claims do not by themselves determine real-world endurance, and no comparable battery test is available to establish which lasts longer.
Build, durability, and storage
Apple lists the iPhone 18 Pro at 211g and gives it an IP68 rating: up to 6 meters of water depth for up to 30 minutes under IEC standard 60529. Apple lists storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The vivo Community post reports 8GB RAM configurations with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, but comparable official S2 weight and durability details are not established in the available sources. Verify the exact S2 regional model and its specifications before buying.

Price difference: the available figures are from different markets
Apple announced a U.S. iPhone 18 Pro starting price of $1,199. The vivo Community post reports India prices of ₹39,999 for the 8GB/128GB S2 5G and ₹44,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration. These are different markets and differ in evidence quality: Apple’s is a manufacturer-announced U.S. launch price, while vivo’s figures are user-reported and not verified official retail prices. They do not establish a meaningful price difference. Compare current prices for the same country, storage tier, and purchase terms before deciding.
