Which phone has the better screen and handling?
Xiaomi 17T: more screen space and a listed 120Hz refresh rate
The Xiaomi 17T has the larger panel at 6.59 inches and lists a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The actual refresh rate can vary by app or interface. Its greater size may suit reading, video and other tasks where a more spacious screen matters, but it also makes the phone larger to hold.
iPhone 15: smaller and lighter
At 6.1 inches and 171g, the iPhone 15 is 29g lighter than the 200g Xiaomi 17T. That gives it the clear specification advantage for someone who values a smaller, lighter phone. Apple’s cited specifications do not list a high refresh rate, so a precise refresh-rate comparison is not established here.

How do the cameras compare?
The Xiaomi 17T’s listed rear-camera system offers the more explicit long-range hardware: a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical reach and OIS, alongside a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide. Apple lists a 48MP main camera and describes a 2x telephoto option for the iPhone 15.
Those specifications help distinguish camera setups, but megapixels and stated zoom alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No matched camera testing is available for this comparison. Choose Xiaomi if a dedicated longer-reach telephoto camera is a priority; evaluate sample images and video from both models if overall camera quality is decisive.

Battery, charging and what comes in the box
Xiaomi lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 67W HyperCharge for the 17T. Those are manufacturer specifications; they do not prove longer real-world battery life or a faster end-to-end charging result than the iPhone 15. No matched battery or charging test is established here.
Xiaomi says a power adapter is not included and recommends its 67W adapter or above for the advertised charging capability. Apple’s cited launch announcement confirms a USB-C connector but does not provide comparable battery-capacity or charging-wattage figures. Check the box contents and compatible charger for the exact regional model before buying.

What is the price difference?
There is no supported current price difference to report without a market, retailer, date and matching storage tier. Apple announced the iPhone 15 at a U.S. starting price of $799 in 2023; that is historical launch pricing, not today’s street price. Xiaomi’s official global specifications page does not state a price.
For a meaningful comparison, look up the 256GB version of each phone in the same country, then compare dated prices from comparable retailers. Record currency, seller, date checked and whether each amount is a list price or a sale price. Local stock, warranty coverage, regional model and network compatibility can also change which offer is the practical choice.
