How good is AirPods 5 noise cancellation?
Schroeder describes AirPods 5’s ANC as useful but less capable than Pro 3’s. In his listening, positioning the open-fit earbuds affected perceived cancellation; lower-frequency noise was reduced more effectively than higher-pitched hiss, and complex or dense music could sound muddled.
