Creative Bloq reported on October 1, 2026, that Amazon listed the Anycubic Photon P1 Max resin 3D printer for $899.99, down from $1,129.99, with Prime membership required. That is a reported $230 saving—not a live-verified price—so check the Amazon listing and its eligibility terms before buying. The deal article’s 8.3-liter build-volume figure conflicts with Anycubic’s stated dimensions and 18.3-liter claim.

What the reported Amazon deal includes

Creative Bloq’s October 1, 2026 report put the Photon P1 Max at $899.99, reduced from $1,129.99, and said Prime membership was required. Amazon’s listing was not independently confirmed as live for this report. Price, stock, and Prime eligibility can change, so check the current listing, seller, delivery terms, and checkout total before placing an order.

The same report cited two lower-priced alternatives. These are also dated Amazon deal figures, not regular prices or confirmed current offers:

Printer Reported Amazon price Reported reduction Positioning in the report
Anycubic Photon P1 Max $899.99, down from $1,129.99 $230; Prime membership stated as required Large builds and batch production
Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro $539.99, down from $669.99 $130 Compact option emphasizing speed and detail for smaller models
Anycubic Photon P1 $549.99, down from $789.99 $240 The report lists the deal but does not give a distinct use-case comparison

Anycubic’s own pages showed different prices when accessed: its US sale storefront listed the P1 Max from $959, while its product page displayed $1,103 with an EU plug selected. These are separate store listings and configurations, not like-for-like confirmation of the Amazon US deal. Promotions, plug options, shipping, bundles, and availability may vary.

How large is the Photon P1 Max’s build volume?

Anycubic lists the build dimensions as 285.5 × 214 × 300 mm and describes the full-scale print volume as 18.3 liters. Multiplying those dimensions gives approximately 18.3 liters. The deal report’s 8.3-liter figure does not agree with the manufacturer’s dimensions or stated volume; use Anycubic’s figures when assessing capacity.

A large build area can allow larger individual parts or more models in a batch, but it does not establish how quickly a particular job will finish or how many objects will fit. Those outcomes depend on the parts’ dimensions, orientation, supports, resin, and print settings.

What the manufacturer says about speed and detail

According to Anycubic’s Photon P1 Max product page, the printer has an X/Y resolution of 24.8 × 24.8 μm, a layer-height range of 0.02–0.15 mm, and a standard-resin print-speed range of 15–25 mm/h at a 0.05 mm layer. Anycubic also lists wave release technology, 92% light uniformity, a precision-ground steel build plate, an intelligent printing assistant, and compatibility with mainstream resins. These are manufacturer specifications and feature claims, not independent comparative test results.

Use the speed figure as a stated operating range rather than a promise for every print. The manufacturer ties it to standard resin and 0.05 mm layers; the page does not establish a head-to-head speed result against the M7 Pro or another printer.

How to choose between the Max and the alternatives

  • Choose by capacity: If you regularly need larger parts or want to arrange multiple models in a batch, compare the Max’s stated 285.5 × 214 × 300 mm build area with the space your actual jobs require.
  • Choose by detail and speed needs: The deal report positions the Mono M7 Pro as the smaller, speed-and-detail alternative. The cited material does not provide a controlled comparison of print quality or throughput, so treat that as product positioning rather than a verified ranking.
  • Check the physical footprint: The cited product information gives the build dimensions, but not enough comparative footprint data to conclude which printer will fit a particular desk or workspace. Check the machine’s full external dimensions and required clearance before ordering.
  • Compare the complete cost: Consider the live printer price alongside resin, compatible release film or vat replacements if needed, and wash-and-cure equipment. Anycubic’s US storefront lists resin, accessories, vats, release films, and wash-and-cure machines; bundle contents and compatibility should be checked for the exact model.
  • Account for post-processing: Resin printing involves consumables and post-processing, so the printer price alone may not represent the cost or space needed for a complete setup.

What to verify before checkout

  1. Open the Amazon listing and confirm the current price, seller, stock, delivery details, and whether Prime is required for the offer shown.
  2. Check the exact model name and configuration. Do not assume an offer for the Photon P1 or Mono M7 Pro applies to the P1 Max.
  3. Review what is included in the box and whether resin or post-processing equipment must be purchased separately.
  4. Confirm that any resin, vat, release film, or accessory you plan to use is compatible with the exact printer model.
  5. Compare the machine’s full external dimensions with your available workspace, not just its build volume.
