The Team plan was Anthropic’s business-oriented announcement, intended for organizations that wanted multi-user access and team administration. The Team plan was not required to download or use the iOS app. The app was described as available across Claude’s free, Pro, and Team plans.

How do you install Claude on an iPhone or iPad?
To install Claude, use the Apple App Store and search for the official listing named “Claude by Anthropic.” Anthropic’s current installation guide states that Claude for iOS requires iOS 17.0 or later.
- Open the App Store on the iPhone or iPad.
- Search for Claude by Anthropic.

Is the Claude iOS app free?

That price and seat requirement belong to the 2024 announcement and should not be presented as current August 2026 pricing without checking Anthropic’s live business pricing. Team is most relevant to organizations that need centralized billing, administration, and shared access; it is generally unnecessary for a solo user who simply wants Claude on an iPhone or iPad.

What happens if conversations do not synchronize?
If web conversations do not appear in Claude for iOS, first confirm that the app is signed in to the same Claude account used on the web. Then check the internet connection, update the app, and retry after signing in again if necessary.
Anthropic’s launch description promised synchronization with web chats, but synchronization should not be interpreted as guaranteed offline access to every conversation or permanent feature parity between web and mobile. A temporary service or account problem can also delay the conversation list.
Does deleting Claude cancel a subscription?

A current comparison should verify each competitor’s prices, operating-system support, usage limits, privacy controls, and integrations rather than assume they remain unchanged.
