Choose the Anker Nano Charger Neo (A120M) if you want the smallest published dimensions in this comparison and enough output for most USB-C laptops, phones, and tablets from one port. Its maximum output is 65W, with PD3.1 and PPS support, in a 34 × 36.5 × 43.2 mm body. A 30W A2337 is lighter and better suited to phones and modest tablet charging, while the 100W A2679 gives a USB-C laptop more headroom and includes a six-foot cable.
The right choice depends on your device’s own input limit, whether you need PPS, how much bag space matters, and whether you charge one device or several. A higher-rated charger does not force its maximum wattage into a device, and all three models here have only one USB-C port.
Quick comparison: Neo 65W, Nano 100W and Nano 30W
These are single-port USB-C chargers, not desktop charging hubs. The figures below are the manufacturers’ published specifications; “not stated” means the cited product information does not provide that detail.

How much power does your device actually need?
Wattage is a ceiling, not a quantity pushed continuously into the device. A 100W charger can safely charge a phone that requests 20W, provided the phone and charger negotiate a compatible USB-C profile. The phone controls its draw; the charger advertises what it can supply.
USB-C laptops
A 65W supply is commonly appropriate for ultraportable USB-C laptops whose adapters are rated at 45W or 65W. The Neo is therefore the practical middle ground when the computer’s label or manual calls for no more than 65W. During heavy CPU/GPU use, a laptop may consume most of that allowance, leaving less surplus for fast battery charging. If your laptop’s original adapter is 90W or 100W, or if you routinely run demanding workloads while charging, the A2679’s 100W ceiling provides more headroom.
Confirm the laptop’s required USB-C input before buying. Some computers accept USB-C charging only through a particular port, and some gaming or workstation models still require a proprietary adapter. The charger cannot overcome a laptop’s port, firmware or cable limitations.

Both 30W and 65W options can cover many phones, but the phone’s own charging limit determines the benefit. A 65W model does not make a phone charge at 65W if the handset accepts less. The A2337 is easier to justify when the charger will stay in a phone-only bag because it is 72.6 g and has a foldable plug. The Neo becomes more useful when the same charger must also power a tablet or laptop.
Tablets and accessories
Tablets sit between phones and laptops in power demand. A 30W charger can be sufficient for many compact tablets and accessories, but larger tablets may charge more slowly while in use. A 65W charger leaves more margin without the size and weight of the 100W alternative. Check the tablet’s specified USB-C input rather than choosing solely by battery capacity.

What PD3.1, PPS and the other labels mean
USB Power Delivery and PD3.1
The Neo lists USB Power Delivery 3.1 (PD3.1). PD is the negotiation system that lets a charger and device select a supported voltage and current instead of relying on one fixed output. The A2679 is described as a 100W USB-C charger, while the A2337 page specifically lists PPS rather than PD3.1. A device must support the relevant PD profiles for those capabilities to matter.
Programmable Power Supply (PPS)
PPS allows a compatible phone to request finer-grained voltage and current adjustments. Samsung and some other Android phones may benefit when the charger’s PPS range matches the handset’s requirements. The cited Neo and A2337 pages establish PPS support but do not publish every PPS voltage/current range. Consequently, a PPS logo alone does not guarantee a particular “super-fast” charging mode; compare the phone’s required range with the charger’s complete specification or confirm compatibility with the manufacturer.
Recommended Free Tools
AFC, FCP, SCP and UFCS
The Neo also lists Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC), Fast Charge Protocol (FCP), SuperCharge Protocol (SCP) and the Universal Fast Charging Specification (UFCS). These labels indicate additional compatibility targets, not a promise that every device will use its fastest mode. The phone, cable and charger must all support the same protocol and electrical limits. If they do not, charging normally falls back to a lower common mode.
Protection and heat management
ActiveShield 4.0 is listed as a protection feature on the Neo. Treat that as a safety and monitoring feature, not as extra output. Charging speed can still drop when a device, cable or charger becomes hot, or when the device’s battery-management system reduces power.
Size, weight and what “compact” means here
On published dimensions, the Neo is the smallest of these three models in overall volume: 34 × 36.5 × 43.2 mm. The A2337 measures 49 × 49 × 32 mm and weighs 72.6 g. The A2679 measures 60 × 41 × 29 mm and weighs 142 g. Because the Neo’s weight is not published on the cited page, do not assume it is lighter than the A2337.

Shape matters as much as volume. The A2337 documents a foldable plug, which can prevent prongs from catching inside a small pouch. The A2679 is longer in one dimension and heavier, but its six-foot cable can eliminate the need to pack a separate lead. The cited Neo specification does not document either a foldable plug or an included cable.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe A2679’s “62% smaller” comparison
Anker describes the A2679 as 62% smaller than the original 96W MacBook charger. That is a manufacturer comparison, not an independent measurement of the three models in this table. Use the published dimensions above when deciding whether it fits a particular pocket or power strip.
Which model fits common travel scenarios?
One laptop and one phone, charged at different times
Pick the Neo when the laptop requires up to 65W and minimizing charger dimensions is the priority. Its single port means you must charge devices one at a time, but 65W gives useful laptop margin while remaining suitable for phones and tablets.
A 90W or 100W USB-C laptop
Choose the A2679 if the computer is rated near 100W or you want the most headroom among these options. The bundled six-foot USB-C cable adds practical value when you do not already own a cable rated for the required power. The cited US product page was marked sold out when checked, so verify regional stock before planning around it.
Phone-first carry with occasional tablet charging
The A2337 is the lightest option with a published weight and has a foldable plug. Its 30W maximum suits many phones and lighter tablets. It is less appropriate when a laptop is part of the daily kit or when the tablet charges slowly under load.

Several devices at once
None of these models can charge multiple devices simultaneously because each has one USB-C port. If your routine requires a phone, earbuds and laptop at the same time, look for a multi-port charger and compare its per-port and shared-power limits instead of buying one of these single-port units.
Is a 30W charger enough?
For a phone, 30W is often a sensible ceiling because the handset may never request more. It is also adequate for many small tablets, accessories and e-readers. The trade-off is reduced flexibility: a 30W unit may maintain a tablet’s battery slowly during intensive use and is generally unsuitable for laptops that specify 45W, 65W or more.
Use the A2337 when all of the following are true:
- Your main device is a phone or modest tablet with a charging limit at or below 30W.
- You value the 72.6 g published weight and foldable plug.
- You do not need to charge a USB-C laptop.
Move to the Neo when a laptop, larger tablet or future device is likely to join the travel kit. The extra capacity does not force your phone to draw more power, but it avoids replacing the charger later.
Choosing between 65W and 100W
The decision is not simply “more watts is better.” Compare the device’s input requirement, the charger’s physical size, included accessories and your likelihood of using the spare capacity.

Check the cable and plug before blaming the charger
A charger can advertise 65W or 100W while the cable limits the negotiated power. For a laptop, use a USB-C cable explicitly rated for the power level your computer requests. Inspect the cable for damage, avoid loose adapters and test with a known-good cable when charging is unexpectedly slow.

Regional plug shape, wall-voltage requirements, warranty terms and box contents can vary. The cited specifications document the A2337’s foldable plug and the A2679’s included cable, but they do not document those features for the Neo. Confirm the listing for your country rather than relying on photographs from another market.
Setup: getting the expected charging rate
- Read the device requirement. Check the laptop, tablet or phone manual, bottom label or original adapter for its USB-C wattage and supported charging protocols.
- Choose the matching charger class. Select 30W for phone-first loads, 65W for compatible ultraportable laptops, or 100W when the computer’s requirement or workload justifies the additional margin.
- Use an appropriate USB-C cable. For laptop charging, select a cable rated for the negotiated wattage; use the A2679’s included six-foot cable when it suits your setup.
- Connect directly to the charger. Remove questionable hubs, extension adapters and damaged cables while testing so that the charger and device can negotiate without extra variables.
- Check the device’s charging indicator. A phone may show a standard or fast-charge label depending on its protocol; a laptop may report “plugged in” while still drawing battery power if the adapter is undersized.
- Allow for heat and workload. Charging can slow when the device is hot or running demanding software. Move it to a ventilated surface and retest before concluding that the charger is defective.
Common mistakes and troubleshooting
“My 100W charger does not charge at 100W.”
That is normally expected. The device requests only what its hardware, battery state and negotiated profile allow. Confirm the computer’s input specification and cable rating; do not expect a phone to draw the charger’s full maximum.
“Samsung fast charging is not appearing.”
PPS support is necessary for some Samsung modes but not sufficient by itself. The handset’s required PPS range, the charger’s available range and the cable must align. The cited Neo and A2337 pages do not publish complete PPS ranges, so verify the exact combination with the device maker.
“The laptop says slow charger.”
Check that the laptop is connected to a USB-C charging port, that the charger meets the laptop’s wattage requirement and that the cable is rated appropriately. A 30W charger may be accepted for emergency charging but still trigger a warning on a laptop designed for 45W or more.
“Charging stops or cycles.”
Inspect the connector for debris, try another compatible cable and test a different wall outlet. Excess heat, a damaged cable or a loose connection can interrupt charging. If the behavior follows the charger across devices and cables, stop using it and seek manufacturer support.
Availability, pricing and regional checks
Retail prices, stock, listing identity and regional warranty are volatile. The A2679 US page was marked sold out when checked, so availability should be confirmed in the market where you will purchase. Do not infer a current price from an old listing, and verify that the model number is A120M, A2679 or A2337 rather than relying only on a product title.
Before checkout, confirm:
- The exact model number and maximum output.
- Local plug format and input-voltage compatibility.
- Whether a cable is included in your region’s package.
- Return and warranty terms for your country.
- Current stock and delivery date.
Bottom-line buying guide
Buy the Neo A120M for the smallest published dimensions and a versatile 65W single-port charger with PD3.1 and PPS. Choose the A2679 when a USB-C laptop needs up to 100W or a bundled six-foot cable is valuable, accepting its 142 g published weight and larger dimensions. Choose the A2337 for a phone-and-tablet kit where 30W, 72.6 g and a foldable plug matter more than laptop headroom. If you need simultaneous charging, skip all three and select a multi-port model with clearly stated shared-power limits.
