Amgen’s 2027 graduate programme in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland, lists Process Development as one area graduates can express interest in. It does not advertise a standalone “Process Development Associate” graduate vacancy, guarantee a Process Development placement, or publish a set rotation plan. The programme is listed as a two-year, on-site opportunity starting in September 2027.

Is there a Process Development Associate role in Amgen’s graduate programme?

Not as a separately specified graduate vacancy in the current listing. Amgen Graduate Opportunities 2027 presents Process Development as one of several areas of opportunity and asks applicants to identify their preferred areas. It does not say that every applicant who selects Process Development will be assigned there.

The listing also does not provide a Process Development curriculum, project assignment, reporting line, or rotation schedule. Those details should not be inferred from the programme’s general description.

What might Process Development involve?

A separate Amgen US posting titled “Process Development Associate” describes late-stage biologics process-development work, including bench-scale experiments in upstream cell culture and downstream purification, process characterization, and scale-up. That description offers context for the job family, but it is a different position—not a specification of the Ireland graduate programme. It does not establish the duties, modalities, or responsibilities a graduate in Dún Laoghaire would receive.

Amgen describes its graduate programme as aiming to provide an intensive, practical learning experience. The available listing does not explain how that aim translates into day-to-day work for a Process Development interest area.

Where is the programme, and when does it start?

The listing places the opportunity at Amgen Dún Laoghaire (ADL), Ireland, and marks it as on site. It states that the programme starts in September 2027 and runs for two years on a specified-purpose contract basis.

Amgen describes ADL as an aseptic operations facility covering formulation, aseptic drug-product filling, lyophilization, packaging, analytical testing, and ambient and cold-chain warehousing. This is a description of the site’s capabilities, not a promise that a Process Development graduate will work in each of those operations.

Who is eligible?

According to the listing, eligible applicants include people due to graduate in 2027 with a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or another relevant discipline. The programme is also open to 2026 graduates. The page does not specify a narrower degree requirement for applicants interested in Process Development.

What the two-year contract does—and does not—promise

The programme is described as a two-year specified-purpose contract. Amgen says it hopes successful candidates will stay and build a career there, but that aspiration is not a guarantee of employment after the programme ends.
