The company has also set a target of expanding to more than 300 cities; that is a plan, not the current reach. Availability still depends on the customer’s locality, so a city appearing in the announcement does not guarantee service at every address.
What Amazon announced
In an October 2026 announcement, Amazon said Amazon Now had expanded to more than 120 Indian cities, with its footprint doubling over the preceding two weeks. The company named Amritsar, Abohar, Jalandhar, Ambala, Mangalore, Manipal, Vizag, Kochi, Changanassery, Bhubaneswar and Karwar among the cities reached. These are examples, not a complete coverage list. Amazon’s announcement does not establish availability for every neighbourhood or pincode in those cities.
Amazon said in September 2026 that Amazon Now had reached $1 billion in annualised gross sales over the prior three-month period. “Annualised” describes a rate derived from that period; it does not mean the service generated $1 billion in actual sales during those three months. This is a company-reported milestone, not an independently audited sales figure.
What Amazon Now delivers
Amazon describes the service as carrying tens of thousands of daily essentials. Its listed categories include groceries such as fruits, vegetables and frozen food, as well as personal care, fashion and beauty, small appliances, and home and kitchen products. The list describes the service’s assortment at a broad level; it does not promise that every product is stocked or deliverable from every local fulfilment centre.

How Amazon’s fulfilment figures fit together
Amazon’s October announcement described a network of close to 800 micro-fulfilment and urban fulfilment centres supporting the expansion. This combined figure should not be treated as a direct update to the separate counts in the company’s June announcement, which used different centre types and reported them separately.

The figures are company statements about its network at different dates, and the June release described planned urban-centre expansion as well as a micro-fulfilment count. The releases do not provide a like-for-like breakdown that would explain the change from those June figures to October’s combined count.

Is Amazon Now available in your city or area?
Amazon directs customers to check the Amazon shopping app: open it and look for the “Now” banner. The banner is the practical availability check; the public announcement’s city examples do not give a complete city or pincode list. The service’s presence in a city therefore does not establish that it serves a particular address.
