Because its release date has passed and its official Steam listing is live, Vampire Survivors is the dependable option for someone who wants to play a survivor-style game now. You do not need to wait for a test invitation, a launch announcement or confirmation that the final build has shipped.
Amazing Slot Survivor’s test window has ended
The Steam playtest for Amazing Slot Survivor ran from September 9 through September 30, 2026. With the current date being October 19, 2026, that specific test window is over. A player who did not join during the window should not treat the playtest listing as evidence that the full game is available.
Planned release versus displayed third-party date
LINE Games said it was targeting a 2026 release on Steam and other major platforms. The safest reading is therefore: Amazing Slot Survivor was in a test or pre-release state after its September playtest, with a publisher-stated 2026 target and an unconfirmed November date shown by a third-party tracker. Which game should you play?
Choose Vampire Survivors if you want a game today
- You want a released title with a live official Steam listing.
- You prefer a minimalist presentation and a clearly documented time-survival format.
- You want progression built around gathering gold and buying upgrades for later survivors.
- You need broad input support across mouse, keyboard, controller and touch.
- You want local co-op for as many as four players.
Wait for Amazing Slot Survivor if its presentation is the priority
