Aleratec’s 1:16 USB 3.0 Copy Cruiser Mini is a portable, computer-connected device that can copy one USB flash drive to as many as 16 USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 drives at once. Announced in 2014, it was listed with verify, format, create-image, and image-copy functions; its $499 price was a historical estimated retail price, not a current quote.
What the Aleratec 1:16 Copy Cruiser Mini does
Aleratec announced the 1:16 USB 3.0 Copy Cruiser Mini, part number 330115, on February 27, 2014. The product was aimed at people who needed to distribute materials on multiple flash drives, including educators, trainers, and traveling sales professionals. Unlike a stand-alone duplicator tower, the Mini connects to a computer to perform its work.
Aleratec described the unit as supporting read and write speeds of up to 5Gb/s and listed these functions:
- Copy a source flash drive to multiple target drives.
- Verify copies.
- Format drives.
- Create an image and copy an image to drives.
The 5Gb/s figure is Aleratec’s stated maximum; it is not an independent test result or a guarantee of real-world copy speed.

How many USB drives can it copy at once?
The 1:16 model can duplicate to up to 16 USB flash drives in one operation. Aleratec said it supports both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 drives. The maximum target count and stated interface support are product claims from the 2014 announcement, not independent performance findings.
What was included and which computers were supported?
Aleratec’s launch announcement listed compatibility with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows Vista. It also said the package included a USB 3.0 cable and a power adapter. That historical compatibility list does not establish support for newer operating systems.

How it differs from related Aleratec duplicators
Aleratec later announced a related 1:22 USB Copy Cruiser Mini, part number 330119. It was also computer-connected, but supported up to 22 drives and was described as supporting bootable drives, FAT/FAT32, and NTFS. Aleratec gave it a $629 estimated retail price in 2014.
The earlier 1:11 USB duplicator tower followed a different workflow: Aleratec’s 2008 announcement described it as a stand-alone device that could copy to up to 11 drives simultaneously. It is not the same product as either computer-connected Copy Cruiser Mini.

Is the 1:16 Copy Cruiser Mini still available, and what does it cost?
The announcement named $499 as the 1:16 model’s estimated retail price in 2014 and said it would be sold through Aleratec resellers and retailers including Amazon.com. That does not confirm that the product is still sold, in stock, supported, or offered at that price. Check current listings and the seller’s return and warranty terms before buying; the available product announcement does not establish current availability or a current price.
