Why the comparison is not perfectly like-for-like
The Walmart app cart left out paper bags bought at Aldi checkout, and the creator said, “They don’t have the same exact meatballs that Aldi did.” The report also notes that product sizes and availability can differ. That means the totals compare a real Aldi receipt with an app cart assembled for comparison, rather than two verified baskets containing precisely the same products and quantities.
