Cato Networks announced it had acquired Aim Security on September 3, 2025. Cato said Aim’s technology would extend its SASE Cloud Platform to support secure adoption of AI agents and public and private AI applications. Cato described the deal as adding advanced AI-security capabilities to its platform; its statement is available in Cato Networks’ acquisition announcement.
The acquisition changes the context for Aim’s 2024 funding: Aim is no longer an independent company following Cato’s announcement. The announcement describes plans for integration, but does not establish the availability, packaging, or continuity of Aim’s former products as standalone offerings.
